BobSaccamanno 3,325
I posted this elsewhere but Caden Curry is one of the most disruptive Indiana high school defensive tackles I’ve seen. Admittedly I’m working off footage but I saw enough to see how he plays. I’m assuming he’s front and center in the wreckage. btownqb 5,572
My guys won 50-8 tonight. Former ball boy that's now a FR got a TD at the night, which was obviously very cool.
Seeking6 8,095
I don't think we'll ever be able to quantify what Peyton Manning did to this state in terms of football but 22 years after coming to Indy. There are so many good teams now. Carmel got depantsed last night and shutout for the first time in has to be at least 15 years would be my guess.

btownqb 5,572
For anyone that thinks this game is going away... no chance. Our game is safer than its ever been. The offenses are evolving daily. Theres sooo much that goes into each game, even at the HS level. What we can do with so many young men is something no other sport can match.

Their schedule has been paired down to 6 games this season. Other schools are down to just five. But... they are still playing. Sadly... the school I follow lost Friday night to one of the best in the state. Great coach who is not afraid to play the best of the best in the state of Ohio. Just did not work out last night.

rico 10,001
It just occurred to me that my Wildcats went 0-10 last year. Whitko stands 2-1 so far with Maconaquah coming Friday.

Steubenhoosier 3,195
Dwenger v Homestead is the big game up here in NE Indiana. East Noble v Penn could be another good game
btownqb 5,572
We should get our first test of the year... @Salem first road game, and a lot of inexperience on our side. Should be a wonderful night for football.

We never played Snider, but talked with him at camps. He was solid at IU. If I recall, he was built more like your modern husky or Will lb, but was very athletic and could really pop you. One of those guys that just had a nose for the ball.

Seeking6 8,095
Carmel beats Pike in instant double OT classic. I also just saw how South beat Bloomington North. Can't believe the finish. Two td's in final 21 seconds. Can't believe the defenders allowed South receivers behind them like that. That will be a tough one to take for North. Steubenhoosier 3,195
Dwenger loses to Homestead in 3 OTs, 35-34. Scored on their third possession and opted to go for the win. Just came up short on the 2-point conversion
TheWatShot 558
One thing I like about small school football is guys playing multiple positions and making plays on both sides of the ball. Last night, Bluffton's Cody Mittlestedt rushed 18 times for 250 yards, ran for two touchdowns and caught another, returned a punt for a TD (had a second punt return TD called back by a penalty), and intercepted a pass.
