Shoot even Illinois fired Weber and Groce for less. I know our guy lurks so I have to add this. Painter seems like a really good guy and at times can be a good coach. But he's fired in year 9 in Bloomington. And another preemptive comment...before someone comes along and says if he's so bad why can't we beat him,etc blah blah....our series runs in streaks with them. Check back for 20 years. IU Scott Posted December 5, 2020 Report Share Posted December 5, 2020 Watching Garcia and Marquette and from the time Is watched the game it doesn't seem they use Garcia very well. If he chose Marquette because of their offense maybe he made a mistake. Their offense looks horrible and Garcia stands out at the top of the key screening.
