Looked at Arkansas' stats through five games. Don't see where Justin Smith gained anything from the transfer.

ARK shoots a lot of threes (45% of their attempts). Yet, JS is ninth on their roster in 3pt attempts and is 2-7 on the year. He's 12-21 on FTs. He's averaging 12 ppg and 5.6 rebounds per game. Also averages 1.6 TOs/game. Very similar to his IU stats.

They have two forwards, who've played fewer minutes, who've attempted 22 and 20 threes, respectively.

Have you dug into how they are using him?  Is he on the block more than the perimeter?  I would be interested in knowing how the coach is using him

Interested to see how FSU plays against another solid team in Florida. They are unranked but #18 for KenPom.

Gators have jumped out to an early 11-3 lead.

Edit: A player has collapsed on the floor during a timeout break for Florida. Waiting for more info.

FSU was up 45-35 at half

Keyontae Johnson

Florida has to be a bit shaken by that...

And he does average 19+ a game...

Surprised they continued to play but I believe White asked the players and they all agreed. Probably still not their best but Florida St is a very good team and they are showing it today. Might be a point down the road where a 2 point loss on the road isn't viewed as bad as some make it out. Especially since we had the game right in our grasp. Similar to our road loss vs Illinois last year.

PS...Kentucky getting smoked never sucks.

Hank was who popped in my brain right away. Just really hoping for the kid because he does have NBA talent.

I was watching the game when Hank collasped and it was hard to watch.  The year before Loyola Marymount played in the tournament In Indy and was there and really enjoyed watching him play

wonder why Cal was willing to play a home game against ND

Cal actually agreed to a 3 game series with one of the games played in a bigger arena. ND’s schedule is ridiculously stupid hard this year. Brey did that because he knows those freshman are now juniors, so he wanted to battle test them for their senior year, plus the addition of Cormac Ryan. Will be huge for them if this season is able to go the full length.

I think he did gain by leaving IU. He clearly had worn out his welcome and was subject to quite a bit of criticism, much of it deserved. A change of scenery may have been well worth it for him, regardless of the on the court factors.
