IndyHoosier22 49
Hate to blame Tuttle, but man... How do you take a sack there? One of the most boneheaded plays I can think of in recent memory. All you need to do is throw it forward out of bounds and you're fighting for... what? A 5 yard loss instead of 6? He struggled for most of the game but I don't know how much was his shoulder bothering him. Edited January 2 by IndyHoosier22
ThePaulieWalnuts 472
Overall a good year and a good run. Still not there yet but close. Let's see if they can build on this and enter next season with some fire. Now, let's see what the basketball team can do.....sigh. At least spring is right around the corner and that means camping and fishing. Edited January 2 by ThePaulieWalnuts
Popular Post Leathernecks 4,189
Sheridan can walk home. That was absolutely pathetic all game. 20 points against one of the worst defenses in all of football? They couldn't stop the run, and we kept throwing that stupid screen that didn't work all day. Garbage. 9
Hoosier Daddy 4 65
No way anyone can put this on the defense.
southsidehoosier 620
Pathetic offensive calling that last drive. Those bubble screens weren’t getting us anything. Why’d we go away from the run. Peed down our leg with the game in our hands
HoagieRoll 343
Was only able to catch the second half but seemed like there was nothing called to get guys open in the middle of the field in space. Either a dump to Whop or a bomb on the sideline. completed maybe one crossing route all game. Also, just can NOT take a sack in the spot on the last drive...piss poor showing
IU Scott 9,740
Sheridan needs to go because his play calling has been horrendous all year. Why do many of those Bubble screens that produced all day and we run it while we were on the move and get nothing. How does a WR have 18 catches but only 80 yards.
thirdgenhoosier 269
Blame goes to the OC in my opinion. Terrible first half game plan. Second was better but then got away from the run when they still had time on that pass to Whop that they ran too many times. Got impatient and it cost them.

IndyHoosier22 49
Sheridan needs to get it together too though. Literally no reason to go away from the run. It's working, why you'd go away from something that's working to something that hasn't worked all day is beyond me. That play call and Tuttle not knowing when to throw the ball away cost us the game.

D-BONE 174
I'll put it on both - offense & defense. Obviously, neither played well enough for us to win. Overall, I thought the offensive playcalling was by far the worst. That said, given how our D has played this year, their inability to get any true impact plays was significant. IU878176 1,072
Would have liked to seen more of Scott in the first half. Fun year, disappointing finish (like last year) but sign me up for a January Florida- type Bowl next year.
Lizard 256
Good comeback. Hope the folks running IU football think twice before again being offended at what's given to us off the field. We motivated Ole Miss and they showed us what good programs do. We were shown we don't yet belong. Hats off to Ole Miss.
Fiveoutofsix 601
Game was to fast for KW and his play calling. I'm sorry, but we are going to be better with a new hire there. This came down to defense. Had a chance to win, but should of not been in that situation.

southsidehoosier 620
Hey I know this isn’t working but let’s try that high risk, low reward bubble screen.
BeerBQ 423
Terrible. Can’t complain about any disrespect from the CFP or B1G if you get thumped by a 4-5 SEC team.
Parakeet Jones 3,363
I wasn’t mad after the Tennessee game last year, just disappointed. Today, I’m mad. Awful play calling.
IndyHoosier22 49
Secondly, we REALLY miss Penix out there. I drew it up to Wisconsin being a good defense, but it became pretty clear today we have no explosive element without him. Penix was routinely throwing 40 yard bombs on Ohio State and Michigan, but with Tuttle out there.... No explosiveness at all.

Lizard 256
Record 17 catches for Whop and under 100 yards net. Hmmm.
