Overtime Elite pro basketball league launching in September, will compensate high school-aged players (espn.com)

Getting out of hand how people are trying to take kids youth away from them and making them grow up to fast.  Taking kids away from high school and lose their eligibility to play in this league.  No wonder kids today has an entitlement with things like this where they aren't allowed to be kids any longer.

Parents are to blame in my opinion.  Every thinks the next great thing is living under the same roof as them. This could really, really hurt college basketball.

Probably will but more importantly it will hurt the kids.  It could also help the college game and bring it back to being student athlete instead of being a minor league for the NBA.

Valid point.  Maybe would level the playing field a bit.

Probably would hurt some of the teams in the middle.  The top teams will still get the best players available so the players who the mid majors got might go up a level.
