Cleanse the program of that kind of BS. And I said it before he left so it’s not sour grapes. He won’t say it in those words but he deserted his teammates and nothing else makes sense. The “me” attitude will get you beat so those types of guys need to be gone. I just hope Woody is on some other two guards who can shoot. 2

labeck81
Noah Locke would be a very nice replacement but the suitor list is long

At least he didn't go to the hated three rivals.

He wants to continue playing games in the 60's and he REALLY liked the packline defense. 1

You can see the difference where Trayce has a strong father who met with Trayce and Woody and came out of the meeting with “you’re staying.” And so did everyone else including Race. That all speaks volumes.

You know, that crossed my mind... Maybe he likes a more structured offense than Woody described to him... And at least he doesn't have to learn a new defense... bluegrassIU
I am disappointed, but not really tore up. I would have been pissed if he went in conference. This? Meh.....good luck. 🤷♂️

Popular Post BobSaccamanno
This isn’t popular here but it’s the truth. When I saw Trayce’s press conference last week and I heard him say Armaan was “iffy,” I actually rooted for him to leave. Literally every other single player stayed. I mentioned today that Rob deserved credit for staying even though another point guard was brought in. It is not like Armaan was going to be benched or wouldn’t get top coaching or wouldn’t be able to show his skills for the NBA. None of those things are in play here. He doesn’t get it and he doesn’t fit with our culture. We don’t need that here. Edited April 8, 2021 by BobSaccamanno 13

DocHoosier
Good luck to Armaan. Would’ve loved him back. This leaves more Avenue for guys like Leal, Lander and Galloway grow into roles to fill his absence. 6

Steubenhoosier
Not gonna lie. Not happy with this. However, he’s not going to Illanoy and he’s not going to a sleazy program. Bennett is a class act, and from what I’ve discerned, the Franklin family are quality people. Not the first kid from Indiana who went to UVA. Probably not the last. This would have been a catastrophic loss for the CAM program. With what CMW has kept, and brought in, we can absorb the loss and move forward. Bring in a Mashburn and let’s go!
