Whoa, you being optimistic? Things are looking up.   😁

If you can't be happy after the way this offseason has sorted itself out then nothing will. We all wanted Brad Stevens but honestly this is about as good an offseason as we've seen around here since Langford committed. The biggest difference is the guys coming in are immediate impact upper classman with real D1 experience. Pretty special the transformation that is going on. I'm pretty set on this roster....unless a shot blocking big wants to come along I think we are good to go. I know we want a stretch 4 but that is Jerome Hunter...and that should be Jordan Geronimo's role now that he is coming back. That kid should be groomed as a 3 and D specialist. He has the frame to bang a bit if called on. We've added shooting and brought our front court fully intact (as we had last year) back. Let these kids compete and see how it all shakes out. In a new offense and yes defense will matter too but I can't help think Woodson is not going to sacrifice shooting to be a stickler about having to fit his defensive system.

Now...begins the improvement, the growth, the building of a system and player development. Woodson hit a home run on the recruiting trail but now he has to take what we have here and make them better...in all areas of their game. Player development was spotty to say the least under Archie. Then come Nov....we will see if Woodson can game plan and coach! Step 1 is complete....begin Phase 2!!

It’s like in the movies......I can’t get this image out of my head.....Coach Woodson, Coach Fife, Coach Rosemond, Coach Hunter and Coach Matta walking into a crowded room.... (all in a regal, slow motion pace)....The crowd is in awe. 🤩🤓

To be perfectly candid, I think Woodson is doing better so far than even Stevens would have.  I know it's total speculation, and there's no way to quantify what Stevens could have done to this point, but Woody's just knocking it out of the park right now.

Congrats to Bates for a great decision and a tip of the cap to Woody and staff for a great pickup. If Woody and assistants keep recruiting like this, things will be back like old times soon.

I was skeptical of this hire, but Woody has been doing solid things thus far and nobody doubts his ability with the "x's and 0's"

no. I hate big numbers lol

Hey I get you....all through school I loved 12 and 21. 12 for Alford (had a phase there lol) but mostly I've always loved 21....first because I loved Nique....but also my dad asked me why I liked it and then he showed me Quinn Buckner and I had double the reasons lol.

When is "Hoosier Hysteria"?  Probably have to start camping out now to get a seat.  Women have a potential final 4 team and the men aren't too far behind.

A great pick-up.  Tamar really plays the passing lanes well.  One thing I didn't like about the pack-line was that it gives up quite a bit of playing the passing lanes.

The women caught a pretty fortunate draw...but no doubt that team should be a S16 team at least next year if they avoid injuries. Would love to see them in the FF.
