Game 4 of the 1963 World Series That's about all they got off of Koufax in the Dodgers sweep... Koufax had gone 25-5 that year. Yogi Berra said, "I can see how he won twenty-five games. What I don't understand is how he lost five." 1

IUFLA
I've been watching the "MLB Presents" series on MLB Network (I record them off of YouTube TV) Come to find out, most of the series is on YouTube itself. Watched this one on the "Impossible Dream: The 1967 Red Sox and the Start of Red Sox Nation." Just awesome stuff, especially if you've never heard the story...

Steubenhoosier
Bob Feller, coming off a lackluster 15-14 season, takes a $20,000 salary cut to $45,000. The pay cut is Feller's own suggestion, January 18, 1950. Gotta love the unselfishness but ol’ Bob probably would have benefited from some representation on this Edited January 18, 2023 by Steubenhoosier
