I’m not a fan of the buckeyes and love when we beat them. They have however surprised me this year with there performance. What are your thoughts? Hoosierhoopster Posted January 12, 2018 Report Share Posted January 12, 2018 They're looking pretty solid. KenPom actually has them ranked 18 overall. (Btw, he has PSU at #45.) At 14-4 and 5-0 in the B1G, they're playing well. Overall, they've scored 80 ppg while allowing 68.4. They outright crushed MD 91-69, after beating MSU 80-64. They very much belong in the top 4 of the B1G. Not a Buckeye fan, but they're looking a lot better than most expected.They did lose early games to Butler and Clemson, and got wrecked by Gonzaga, and those recent two big wins were at home, so will be interesting to see how they fare against the better teams now on the road.Their schedule is stacked with home games for quite some time, for some reason. Reason why is that since Minnesota and Northwestern (who were predicted 3 and 4) in most preseason Big 10 polls are not doing well....we need chances at more quality wins (besides Sparty and Purdue).
