I would hope it wouldn't be when you're 20 and someone is already giving you the opportunity of a lifetime, but I certainly get what you're saying.

Yeah it’s certainly not ideal and unfortunate that that has to happen for some players. You have to wonder how much of that is fueled by what kids are being told while growing up as a gifted athlete and how much that gets to their head.

And none of them facing adversity, yep.

The million dollar kid Ewers transfering from OSU. I wonder if transfers like this will start to have an impact on the NIL for teams. Not a whole lot of return on your investment from a kid staying for less then a year.

That was fast and this transfer portal is out of hand.  I think OSU just got a commitment from one of the top QB

Yeah it is getting a little crazy.

They got a commit from 4 star Devin Brown. He is behind a 5 star in McCord and Heisman candidate Stroud, so look for Brown in the portal by the end of next year lol.

He committed to IU a few years ago, then decommited too, after that:

Committed to UNC

Decommitted from UNC

Committed to PSU

then Decommitted from PSU

and then went back to UNC

I know these are kids and it's a huge decision and immaturity plays a part, but at some point make a decision and take responsibility for it and commit to something for the long term.

Because at some point in your life you're going to have to do that.

In a marriage, at your job, etc.

All walks of life takes commitment at some to be successful. It does not take a "perfect situation" to succeed.

I get it… theoretically.

But most of these kids get 4 years of their life to play. Why not go somewhere else if it’s a better fit. if you don’t get the raise or promotion you’re looking for, and another company is offering you that, I don’t think anyone should give you grief moving over to a company that can fulfill what you’re looking for.
