Bama, UM and OKST all lose. UC moves up to 2 ND slides into 3 and Fickell coaches the CFP against his old team. Seems far fetched but in this world feels about right

Indykev
IU listened to the players once and hired who they wanted. How did that work out in the end. I hope , not that a really care, that ND didnt make the same mistake.
IU Scott
It is funny that ND hired a DC with no HC experience. Everytime IU has an opening we see fans say we need to go after every top coach and are disappointed we we don't go after them. I think it shows you that it is harder to lure some of the top coaches to leave their current position.

I think it's a really good hire.

Sorry, Rico. 😂 Edited December 2, 2021 by jv1972iu

Freeman was getting interest for other head coaching vacancies plus he’s been the primary reason they have a top 5 recruiting class and they wanted to keep that in tact so it’s a little different than the Mike Davis situation.
SpiderMonkey
The way the Irish were playing at the end of the year, I think keeping both Freeman and Rees is good for them.
