  2. Just for a laugh...I got an alert that said the Cardinals and Hopkins moving towards a deal...the first thing that popped in my head was Louisville is paying Hopkins to come now !?!?!!...then thought again and realized it was DeAndre Hopkins and the Arizona Cardinals 😂😂

  3. Just want to leave this with all you good folks of HSN. Bruiser and Coach Miller are in good terms with each other. The blowout on tv between them is water under the bridge as far as both of them is concerned. Coming from a great "insider" friend of mine.

  7. Just for anybody who cares or is in the market... These Bang and Olufsen E8s are awesome. They are the 1st generation (they're up to 3rd gen) hence the reasonable price ($96 shipped)... The highs and midrange on these are exceptional...Bass is good, not too much, but it seems just about right for my listening preference... It's funny, they come with a bag full of the silicone tips...tried the mediums and the sound wasn't good. I was about to package them back up and send em back...Then I tried the larger ones, got a great seal, and they were rocking...Listening to George Harriso

  8. Rumor only but Jason Heyward left the game last night because he wasn't feeling well. During these times unfortunately first thought is Covid. Guess we'll know later today or tomorrow but after he left the game the guys in the dugout were wearing masks more than usual. Regarding Cubs. Just poor play. Nothing surprising. Been going on for a few years. Caused Maddon/Theo to agree to part ways and now Ross is dealing with this as well. Ross has first year first time manager as a pass from me and probably the masses.....but even he's starting to get dragged into the mud a bit. We just have to

  16. Season split with Cardinals. Don't know if I should be relieved or ticked. Hendricks with another gem....especially vs Cardinals. Now has 8 starts vs them with giving up only 0 or 1 run since he joined the league in 2014. Most of any pitcher.

  21. Jumped on Antonio Gibson, who went undrafted since the draft was so early. Too many question marks at RB to not grab him at this point. Full PPR league and they are touting his pass catching ability. Have 6 RB on the roster. All have question marks. Just need two of them to become reliable, as I will rarely, if at all, ever need one for flex with the strength of the WR core. Looking like week 1 starters will be Chubb and Gibson. J. Taylor, Fournette, M. Ingram, and J. Howard on bench. One will likely be dropped early to shore up depth elsewhere. Just need to see how weeks 1-3 pl

  22. Talk to people who have the picks right behind you and see if someone wants to "trade." Maybe you can come to an agreement that you'll take who they want at 3, and they'll take who you want. Then throw in a later round pick of theirs where you get to choose. Then after the draft complete the trade. Just make sure to make the info public before the draft so they don't back out. You might be able to get a later round pick and still get the guy you want in the 1st round. Or do a trade after the draft, but I think you can get more doing it before the draft.

  23. The Leinie's Oktoberfest was pretty good...I usually drink Michelob Ultra, so the taste difference was stark...I very rarely drink regular beer (or even MU for that matter...maybe twice a month or so, and even then rarely drink over 3). Time to re-expand my horizons... 🍻 So I'm going back to HEB and pick up some more Oktoberfest while they have it...Also want to get some Left Hand Milk Stout from a brewery up @milehiiu way in Longmont, Co...I can't regularly find it and I saw it yesterday...

  24. I found out I have the #9 pick, but waiting for our keepers to be reported so I can develop a POA. Still torn on my keeper. My gut keeps telling me TB is going to be a fantasy bust this year (or at least not live up to all their high rankings). I think I may pass on keeping Godwin (which would cost me a 3rd round pick) and keep Prescott instead because it will only cost me an 11th round pick and then I won’t have to worry about a QB. Prescott had the 2nd highest QB point total last year....he’s no slouch. I’m really high on Gibson and Chark. Just trying to figure out how high I sho

  27. Chicago isn’t grabbing the available RBs. They said they’re going to be committed to the run games this year (we’ll see about that). This perhaps leads me to believe they are confident is Montgomery‘s health? 🤔

  32. David Bell is a terrible manager. His decision making is awful and he always just rambles in his post game pressers. He and his decision making has lost several games this year and in 60 game season you can’t do that.

  34. I watched the first 2 innings closely. I think KB is going to get run tonight. Rookie ump that the TV crew has mentioned already.....corners are getting inconsistent. You pair that with a frustrated team and I can see something happening. With that said. Keep it within 5 headed to 7th. I'd have more faith with this crew than Mitch. Different thread though. Haha.

  35. The one Goldschmidt tagged didn't need any help... He's just so inconsistent...paints corners, then loses one right over the heart of the plate... But I agree with you...as Harry use to say, "5 runs will not win this game on a night like tonight!"

  45. Yes poorly ran defensive possession. I didn’t realize they were in a zone...I just thought Brown was anticipating a pick and switch...but you aren’t going to leave your man near the basket to drift out that far on the opposite corner...Agree someone will lose track. Poorly executed...maybe it was the lay-off and lack of practice or just guys not following directions but it was clear they hadn’t worked on that enough to use it...should stick with what they are all comfortable doing...switching. Using another famous Boston coach Belichick wouldn’t have made that mistake. He always has his team o

  47. Based on feel only I got 145 in the early pool. Kris Wilkes had a big thread and he went down to Bloomington for a weekend to get peoples hopes up. Little did we know it was the last time he would set foot on campus. Now Wilkes has been released by the Knicks. No clue where he's at now. Somehow that UCLA brand development didn't work out so far.
