You could go down a lot of rabbit holes on this topic. What if Jay Edwards returned? What if Cody and Vic stay one more year? What if Epstein didn’t kill himself? I’d better show myself out...7 points

Welcome Mike Stump, but... he couldn't comb his hair or shave for an official IU promotional picture?6 points

Kinda quiet around here, so I thought I'd try to stir up some discussions. How about a list of players who wanted to come and play at IU but didn't for whatever reason. I'll start with : Oscar Robertson Bob Gibson Louie Dampier Who else?4 points

I'm okay with the mask mandate until the world has better control over Covid. I also understand that other people may disagree with it. What I don't get is why people have to fight it and flaunt the fact that they are fighting it. If I go to a store that requires shoes, I'm not strutting in there barefoot just to make a point. Given what the world has been going through, why would we fight a mask mandate harder than we would the No shoes, No shirt, No service rule?4 points

Probably a long shot to get an offer but since we have over 100 pages on Luke Brown I thought I'd give a hometown kid some love too. 😝 His dad coached my JV team and his grandfather my Varsity team. Currently plays for the Linton Miners. 6'5 with a confident stroke and will take it to the basket finishing with either hand. Get's his shot from his dad who played at Coastal Carolina and his jumping from his mom who was a volleyball player in college (definitely not his dad). Coaches kid, plays smart, not the quickest of foot but much more athletic then his dad was. Will have to get stronger. Has room to grow. Can't imbed his video but has some good highlights on hudl. Think he is going to really come into his own the next couple years and will be keeping a close eye on him. http://www.hudl.com/v/2FNMam2 points

The Larry Bird fiasco may have cost us at least one more title. And the Oden/Conley screw up was unforgivable.2 points

If you've watched any of the videos of people refusing on airplanes or retail stores it's almost comical... The statement they're trying to make gets obliterated by the "Look, I'm stupid" dialogue...2 points

https://www.insideedition.com/brother-of-james-chadwell-man-being-investigated-in-connection-with-delphi-murders-says-he-is-evil I've been hooked on this case from the start. Read the article above. I really think he's the guy......2 points

That'd be a nightmare... I think the one aspect people who never saw him play don't realize is what a great passer he was. In the open floor, he was terrific. 6'8 guys didn't grab a rebound and go the length of the court back then...he was special... And beyond the years IU won something, 70-71 ranks as my favorite year...That was a very entertaining team...2 points

Yes he was. One of my favorite players and a guy who was a prototype for what big men would become in basketball. He was also an outstanding football player in high school. Can you imagine seeing him coming at you on the football field?2 points

I think so based on his ability to control a game. Loved McGinnis and think if he would've stayed to play for Coach Knight, that would have been a championship team. Thomas was fearless and in the championship game, he dominated UNC.2 points

The good news is that Bryant is playing great. It'll increase his trade value at the deadline. Heck, we might even get a couple of high A ballplayers for him.2 points

Congrats on the graduation part. Always nice to see stepping stones crossed. Just saw the score. Reminded me of my first Cubs game in 79 vs Phillies. Tons of homers. Here's a fun stat. Cubs have 28 starts on year I believe and have yet to have a starter get an out in the 7th inning. Haha. Brutal what Cubs ownership is trying to sell to us. We all knew it in January and this is continued proof. Oh well. Football is only 100 or so days away!2 points

3 MIC players drafted and another from Cathedral. 2 from LC and 1 from BD. We got none of them, that stops now.2 points

I see your point. Big George was a force of nature. Definitely two different types of player. And I totally agree about McGinnis and Knight. Too bad George didn't stick around, but I understand why he didn't...1 point

Yep! Every dong means we might have guys who can contribute at the end of 23 when we might have a chance at wild card again!1 point

Good list- some underappreciated pgs, but maybe not on that list, Strickland, Calloway, Jim Thomas. Can't forget Coverdale as that was the last to lead a final 4 team.1 point

Agree 100% on the first two. For me, I. Thomas is arguably the best player I have seen in an IU uniform.1 point

As someone smart once said, statistics are for losers. For much of his career, Yogi Ferrell was a get in the air and don’t know what to do point guard. For much of his career, Yogi Ferrell was a look for my shot first point guard. After his freshman season he averaged over 12 shots per game every season… not what I want from a point guard. I realize that a lot of people on here, especially younger guys, worship Yogi Ferrell. He couldn’t hold a candle to QB or Zeke. As one poster on here says, ShewI’d even take Coverdale, for what he meant to, and did for, his team over Yogi Ferrell1 point
