I’m not going to sit here and go the we didn’t want him anyway route because we could always use more talent, but wasn’t it an uphill battle for anyone who wasn’t Maryland? Wasn’t Maryland leading pretty much the entirety?

Maybe, but why’d it take so long if it was always Maryland?  His comment of the fans are great is laughable.   Haven’t they had low attendance all year?

Not a Doyle fan, but that story was under pay wall last night.  When I pick it through this post, I was able to read it.  Nothing we all haven’t already talked about here with Woody’s issues.

I had a gut feeling he was going to hit a game winner the way the game was played out in the final 3 minutes and both OT’s.

Didn’t he score every point in both OT for GC and brought them back to tie at end of regulation and 1st OT?

At this point the only reason I’m stilll watching is my son thinks we can win and wants to watch with me. Oh the innocence. He thinks we still have a shot at the tournament. I hate to break it to him. Otherwise I’d be done. I really don’t enjoy this anymore

My son gave up at halftime vs Purdue, he’s not even watching this one.  I’m only watching because I took Wisconsin to cover.

I knew Woodson would start Sparks. He just can’t help himself

Just an absolute ridiculous move.  He should get 10 minutes at most, not start.  A chance to try some things with essentially all reward and no risk, CJ starts out MM at 4, or start Walker at the 4 and MR at the 5.  Either of those would have been gobs better than this idea.  Sparks will have 2 fouls before the 5 minute mark anyways….but in an attempt to show he’s not stubborn Woody will leave him in.

I’m not opposed to guys getting rebounds and going back up strong if it’s there. Just wish we had guys smart enough to know when it’s a good shot and when it’s not. Up 1 with .27 secs left and .20 secs on the shot clock isn’t one of those times to go right back up, especially when you have three guys on you (like MR did at the end).

And I’ll add, get bailed out and miss both free throws.
