I haven't dialed in yet because of focus on hoops but here's where I'm at with Coach Cignetti. If he needs to send kids packing or whatever you want to call it so be it. I mean no disrespect to CTA and his time but if CC needs to ship dead wood so be it.

All day long. Just glad the cooler heads approach i.e. emotional intelligence is prevailing. Gave the man a chance to correct some things and so far nobody has improved their roster more than IU has this offseason. Of course I know what comments are coming on the last sentence.

Aaron Boone is eventually going to die in the dugout. Gets tossed today early by home plate ump. Problem was Boone didn't say anything. You can see the guy in a blue polo shirt in first row yelling something to the ump and the ump thought it was Boone.

An update on the update. I was told in December he was leaving. Last couple of weeks had been some bumps but again there was a reason he walked on graduation night.

7 or 8 shots for your franchise player? Not sure that's the recipe when the other team is down their star.

My every 5th game post. Why we gave Hendricks an extension is beyond comprehension. Not sure of the way to help him retain everything he's done for us but also time to move along.

I would really like to know what specifically some of these kids don't have to get admitted. It's not like Juwan's teams were made up of Rhodes Scholars.

And I'll add with guys at 2nd and 3rd with 1 one out why Bellinger didn't get a shot there?

Another blown save. I think it makes 3 or 4...but Jed said nobody makes deals in April or May. What an idiot. Costing this team a phenomenal start considering the schedule.

I honestly have no clue what's going on there. Can't be a $ thing. I know they have talent coming in but that many kids leaving makes me curious about Scheyer even more.

My Dad's favorite team ever was the 59 White Sox. He's got a ball from that team as well but it's so dirty/smudged you can't make out the names anymore. Really cool story. Thanks for sharing!

And I guess it's now 4 cents but I wouldn't mind holding one bullet left in the chamber when kids go to NBA Camp and find out they aren't getting drafted. I know the last scholarship is a sensitive topic but I'd prefer to hold one.

Here's my two cents. With Tucker, Rice, and Ballo we've already crushed the offseason. If/when Carlyle says yes that's even better. No disrespect to the Hickman or Essegian types but they won't move the needle like the above. If Essegian comes great. If not....find another.

Skenes or people like him have to be pretty guarded on signatures. I know the PGA guys if adults are asking for autographs they'll pass because the stuff ends up on Ebay or other sites.

My buddies kid is a rare 8 year old. He loves autographs vs photos. Has quite the collection going so far.

That's a great find. He told me it was crazy that nobody else was there besides him.

One other thing I'll add. We left early but another couple stuck around with their son because he wanted to try and get his autograph. He just texted me this morning that the line was 100+ deep after the game and Skenes stuck around long after the game and signed every single one.

He struck out 8 in his 3+ innings last night. I have no clue how long it's sustainable but if I'm the Pirates....he's being called up asap.

We went last night to check him out. I doubt he's in Indy much longer so we wanted to see and hear him with our own eyes. I don't even really have a comparison. Some say Strasburg but I think Skenes is in his own class....and he was making AAA batters look really, really bad. I mean AAA players are 1 injury or call up away from the show and Skenes made them look like right fielders in tee ball.

For the Indy folks. If you love Detroit style there's a place on 10th St called Sam's Square Pie. Owner was working in the NFL as a camera operator or something. His brother (was a big DJ here in Indy) died and he opened the joint up. Really, really good. Only thing. As someone who volunteers quite a bit down the street at a church....the area isn't the best. Be aware is all I would say.

I'll just say this. Campuses are filled by ideologies and Bloomington is no different. Sometimes a President comes in and doesn't believe those. I FULLY support President Whitten and that's all I'll say on this one.

There was a guy on here edits or maybe it was on twitter....but he was posting and took a time out. He had mentioned that most of the videos were made well in advance. Maybe I'm remembering wrong.
