the current NIL and Transfer Portal guidelines is gutting college basketball. At some point, schools will need to start having kids sign contracts with buyouts to keep them at one place longer than a year.

New offseason, same optimism. How many times have we said top 1-3 conference, second weekend, top 25 team over the last 20 years. I have zero expectations for IU basketball. So at least when they are good i will be surprised and excited.

Scott i usually think you're crazier than a pet racoon but you have always stood by your stance that P6 coaches don't want to leave for other school even for big money. And 10mil+ a year being thrown around by UK is big money.

And they were throwing around double digit a year salary i think? Might have to pony up a huge signing bonus, something like 25mil. Or go with a fully guaranteed contract type of thing.

Dreymond can't retire or get injured fast enough. He was a pile of shit at MSU and he is a pile of steaming shit as a professional. Not good for the game at all.

It is probably exhausting for older coaches to do all the things needed to stay at the front of the pack fro recruiting, evolving offensive and defensive schemes, NIL, and player personalities.
