  1. Definitely not what team GMs would do. I was just putting the numbers there. Ingram shot 39% from 3 last year on more attempts than this year. He can shoot. Not great this year for sure. Tatum and Ingram are without a doubt both special talents. The same goes for Brown and Kuz.
  2. Nothing you have seen would put them even close to being the same? Going off numbers alone, here they are from this past season for each individual. Ingram (33.8 mpg) - 18.3 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 3.0 apg - 49.7 FG% 33.0 3PT% --- Tatum (31.1 mpg) - 15.7 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 2.1 apg - 45.0 FG% 37.3 3PT% Kuz (33.1 mpg) - 18.7 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 2.5 apg - 45.6 FG% 30.3 3PT% --- Brown (25.9 mpg) - 13.0 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 1.4 apg - 46.5 FG% 34.4 3PT% Ingram and Kuzma are better 3pt shooters than the percentages indicate, not the best of years for those two from deep. I do agree with Gleas that the Celtics guys are more proven as team guys that can help you win. They displayed that in the 2017-18 playoffs. If I were a Celtics fan, there is a high chance that I would feel differently about this. That's just how it works usually. Either way, both teams are lucky to have these guys - all of them being very promising young talent.
  3. Signs are pointing the right direction here. Should be able to continue his career without recurrence, thankfully. He was really getting comfortable before he got hurt. 21ppg, 6rpg, 3apg in the month of February.. Basically automatic from mid-range, better shot-selection. The one guy I would really hate to see go if it were to happen via trade.
  4. We can agree to disagree. Although I wouldn't, I do agree teams would take Tatum first, but I personally don't think he and Brown are better than BI and Kuz. Curious to see where AD ends up though. Gonna be an exciting offseason this year, no doubt.
  5. First, I think the Lakers have better young talent to deal than the Knicks or Celtics. BI, Kuz, Lonzo, Hart > Tatum, Brown, Rozier > Knox, DSJ, Mitchell Robinson, Trier. With it not looking likely that Kyrie resigns, I'm not sure the Celtics would be willing to give up both Tatum and Brown for what would most likely be one year of AD anyways.
  6. Highest I have seen Romeo projected in a while.
  7. In my opinion, if they want to, the Lakers can make the best offer for AD. No matter what, the Pelicans just simply aren't gonna make a deal with the Lakers. AD will most likely end up in the East. LA Times reported during the season that one of the Lakers' offers featured Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Ivica Zubac and a first-round pick.
  8. Before the season started, I didn't picture myself having to watch another draft lottery as a Lakers fan for a while... Here we are.
  9. Shouldn't Romeo no longer be included on the grid?
  10. Luke Walton and the Lakers mutually agree to part ways.
  11. Magic Johnson stepping down as president of the Lakers.. Didn't see that coming. Good with it.
  12. Lakers get a huge win tonight @ Boston -- Rondo hits a buzzer beater for the win!
  13. This cleared us a roster spot, and we're most likely going to sign Carmelo. Don't like that we gave up Zu.
  14. Woj on Twitter: "Nearly 3 hours away from the NBA's trade deadline and ... the Lakers-Pelicans talks on Anthony Davis are dormant, league sources tell ESPN. No communication, nor an expectation that they'll even speak today. Pelicans seem content to run out the clock."
  15. Had to turn the Lakers game off after the first half. Painful to watch.
  16. Brad Turner now saying the Lakers have pulled out of the Anthony Davis amid "outrageous" requests by Pelicans. Woj is saying that the Lakers are still glad to engage with the Pelicans on an AD trade, but no longer want to bid against themselves. Says the Lakers are waiting for Pelicans to make a counter-proposal on their most recent offer.
  17. Brad Turner believes that if the Pelicans don't accept the Lakers offer now the Lakers would move on to other FA's this summer. Will be interesting to see what the Pelicans end up deciding to do. If they wait for Ainge and he ends up not giving them what he's promising while LA is no longer in the AD market, that is the Pelicans loss.
  18. They can, but will they? AD has made it pretty clear he has no interest in resigning with the Celtics if he were traded there. His own father said he wouldn't want his son playing for the Celtics. I don't think I would be surprised if Ainge went all in for AD hoping that they can convince him and Kyrie to stay long term. Imagine if Ainge included Tatum in a deal for AD and neither him or Kyrie stayed.. Yikes.
  19. I agree with basically everything you said. I just don't see the Pels getting a better offer than what we're offering. We're offering everything that they wanted, and we're willing to take on a bad contract in Solomon Hill. I still think there's a chance that a deal gets done before the deadline. Who knows, maybe the Pels end up doing us a favor not taking it now.
