When I was a kid growing up, Frisch's was one of only 3 restaurants in Martinsville...And it was a drive up place with the tray on the window deal...Loved a Big Boy...
And when I went with my friends to Riverfront, of course we always had to have some Skyline...
My bachelor party was very disorganized to say the least.
My friend Nick from Greensburg,In. His last name was Obermeyer, but we called him Oberpussy, took us took us to a Big a Boy in Danville,IL. I'm like WTF Is this. Is was good

The one food I tell people not to leave Cincy without trying: Graeters ice cream. Yeah, you can tell I’m not a true native since I didn’t say chili, but trust me, it’s the best ice cream in the country.
I've had Graeters before. Kicks every other ice-cream in the nuts

Yes, stay away from Seminary Park.
I used to work at Catalent before the bastards laid me off. Homeles camp out in people's back yards on Patterson

Ive I've already told my mom I'm choosing the food.she doesn't eat spicy food or leftovers. Since I paid for tickets and room and gas she's on hook food.
Oh yeah. I'm gonna eat Cincinnati up and hit up Jungle Jims.

My office is downtown Cincinnati about 4 blocks from Paycor Stadium, and I swear the Taylor Swift phenomenon must have been like what the Beatles or Elvis must have been like. The two concerts were Friday and Saturday night. There were people lining up Wednesday night for when the merchandise truck opened Thursday at noon.
Geez, biggest show I've ever been is Monster Trucks at Roberts Stadium
Wait,my dad took me to the hoosier dome in 1990

Earlier in the thread Bloomington was compared to Portland.

I spent 5 hours walking around campus and the mainly the downtown area yesterday. I did not get that impression at all. I know it is purely anecdotal though. At most, I encountered a couple of folks who seemed to be having a rough time in life (I'll leave it at that).
Seminary Park and Switchyard are getting rough.
When I worked at Catalent alot of homeless around Patterson in people's backyards

I know of at least one confirmed instance of someone paying $4000 EACH for a pair of Taylor Swift tickets.
That's freaking insane!
When Kenny Chesney was Top Dogg I never paid more than $100 per

He's honestly one I don't get the obsession with. I think he's a decent artist, not the best I've ever heard but decent enough. He does seem like kind of a douchenozzle. And yet aside from Taylor Swift, people are paying bigger premiums for his tickets than anyone I've ever seen?
What's the deal?
I really have no idea.
I paid $20 a ticket for general admission to see Gary Allan and Dierks Bentley back in 2008. We were stageside, standing room only at Roberts Stadium.
I know times change but how do people afford to go to shows?
I paid $119 each for the dried up owtlaw pothead tour. Which isn't bad at all. Got pretty good seats

The culture that IU brings has infected everything locally. The major sports programs suffer from it.
I quit going to Bloomington regularly after city market on Saturday got effed up. Locals will know what I'm talking about.
The food scene is bomb though. I was working in Bloomington until I was laid off. I'll work there again. No way in hell id ever live there.

I said Morgan Wallen is a douche and my cat comes rubbing her tail agreement.

Willie and Bob Dylan together. I'm assuming they're at Riverbend. If there's a wind blowing west that night, I'll probably be able to smell the weed from my house, and that's 15 miles away. 😂
Not really a fan of either and not so much a fan of Mellencamp after Happy go Lucky.
Lonesome Jubilee was his last good album, back when albums mattered.
But yeah, it's Riverbend, it's for her 62nd birthday, which is August 25th.
It's the Outlaw Music Festival

My mom has done more for me than anyone should.
She says she always wanted to see Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp in concert. Just so happens Willie, Bob dylan and John are touring together.
So I bought us tickets for Cincinnati Sept 11.
They're in Chicago Sept 7th

I was thinking I haven't seen anything from @mrflynn in awhile the other day. I saw Warrant is playing in Wabash, IN next week, so I will post this for him and hope he is doing well...
Grunge killed hair metal. Although I like grunge too.

You haven't eaten at the right places my man. In your defense those right places probably aren't around here.
For street tacos, if you have a chance go to Taco Mix on Obrien Street in Seymour and get their barbacoa tacos.
