  1. I'm torn. I don't want to see Purdue win, but I respect Coach Painter and many of their players. I like to see kids from the state of Indiana do well. But, I still can't pull for them.

Many of their fans are the main reason for my dislike. I have several friends who are Purdue fans and I'm happy for them.  But there are so many of their fans that can be real d-bags (like every program I guess). That's what really makes me not want them to win, is the d-bag fans. It kind of sucks to feel that way, but that's what a rivalry is.

I want a lot of new staff. I don't want Brandon Shelby coaching CBs anymore. 12 years of blown coverages is enough for me.

Teegardin is the worst asst coach in the country.

    Kevin Wrights TEs sucked.

    Paul Randolph. 0 pass rush.

Rod Carey. I appreciate him. Stepped up every time. Wouldn't be upset if he were the Special Teams Coordinator. It seems like he'd be good.

    Wilt. Nothing bad. Nothing good.

    Tucker. WRs got better.

    Johnson. Meh

Bostad-Wouldn't be upset to keep him.

Guerreri. Should never coach football again.

Wouldn't surprise me to see him bring his entire staff with him.  JMU seems pretty well rounded.

  3. I had seen that 3 million number a few times yesterday and than Osterman was talking 3-3.5.  The 3 million seemed to come out about the same time as the news that Cuban was selling a large stake of the Mavs.  Not sure if they are related or not, but the timing was interesting.

I know some of the top QBs are raking in over 1 million alone.  So wouldn't surprise me if some of the programs like Bama, OSU, Georgia are over 7 or 8 million.

  4. So, if Indiana is at 3-3.5 million, that is a pretty solid start and I would think help lure a solid coach.  The right coach could definitely entice additional money into the pool also.  So, this all sounds promising to showing a commitment to turning the ship around.  Might be enough to get a candidate like Herman on board.

Wommack, DeBoer, and really Mike Hart would all fit that role. Deland McCullough, as well. David Ballou, Matt Rhea.

I was thinking the same thing.  While they were not HC, they left to either become a HC or for a higher profile job after doing well at Indiana.
