then we are actually overachieving
-
don't forget we were picked 15th in the national preseason poll this season
-
like Crean he took over a mess though
-
don't forget they're missing their second best player and another important rotation guy
-
wow! that's interesting research. of course Crean should get a pass for most of his. nobody could have avoided that his first year. i'm actually shocked he didn't have more!
-
i'm not mr optimistic, but you won't give us MD at home?
-
i'm with ya on this being one of the few winnable road games, but when i look at why their B1G record is bad - vs MSU at Purdue at Penn St. at Iowa vs Illinois. we'll see. obviously we'll be egregiously outcoached.
-
i get that it is very very likely in between these two scenarios, but could you also see this? we are currently 7th in the B1G at 5-3 and 14-5 overall. i just looked and realized that NW bad B1G record is partly due to road games and tough opponents. clearly we will be outcoached. we lose that game, but manage to squeak out a home win vs MD despite all the boos. we're 6-4 and 15-6. lose at Purdue, at Wisconsin, home vs Michigan (as fans chant we want Dusty), lose at MSU. we're 6-8 and 15-10. win at home vs UCLA, Penn St., and OSU. lose vs Purdue, at Wash and at OR. go into the BTT 9-11 and 18-13. lose first round. miss the tourney. i could honestly see either.

some of you may think someone took me captive and is using my computer, but believe it or not i like to argue both sides of most sports debates. i mean, if everything went unbelievably well, we are currently 7th in the B1G at 5-3 and 14-5 overall. Wisconsin and OR are two teams that are ahead of us and they aren't great. it is realistic to think we can win our next game at NW and home vs MD. at that point we're 7-3 and 16-5 and likely 5th in B1G. then we lost at Purdue and at Wisconsin. 7-5 and 16-7. let's say we win at home vs Michigan. we lose at MSU. 8-6 and 17-8. win at home vs UCLA, Penn St. and OSU and at Wash. lose vs Purdue and at OR. 21-11 going into BTT. consider there are already 5 teams in the top 25 with 4 losses. we get into the Big Dance and have the talent to beat most teams.

it's so strange bc coming into this season, i had no faith in Mike, but i thought we had enough talent that if nothing else we'd be fun to watch, but that really isn't the case. i still watch them all though. gotta say it makes it even tougher with now having 3 guys - Galloway, Leal, and Goode telling us how to be fans.
-
i actually fell asleep! could have had something to do with the Makers
-
just a question as i have no idea - how much difference does it make having Royal and Johnson out?
-
please don't leave us Kev! i mean that sincerely.

i'm with ya on this one Scott. guess i'm still just hoping we get in the tourney bc it just makes it more fun, but if it results in Mike being back? ugh.
-
will still be absolutely shocked if we don't go back to the original lineup. maybe one game to ease Malik back, then right back.
