  1. The biggest Fake Tough guy in the Big Ten transfers to Fake Tough U. Perfect fit, no notes.
  2. The last video of Goodman I saw, he was saying Mgbako wasn't a good shooter last year and Woodson should have gone all in for Andrej Stojakovic in the portal. Because the pieces won't fit without a shooter like that. 3P% 3PPG 3PP40 Player A 32.7% 3.3 5.8 Player B 32.7% 4.6 6.8 Player C 32.0% 4.3 6.8 Two of these three guys are on Indiana's roster next year. The other is Stojakovic. Luke Good was 38.9% from three last year, on 4.1 attempts per game, 8.2 per 40 minutes. If he does commit, can't wait to see the goalposts move once again.
  3. For those who like to count chickens before they've hatched: Bart Torvik currently has Indiana ranked 21 overall with our roster as it stands. Luke Goode would project to have the highest ORating on our team, with 125, on 36% of available minutes, and would bump our overall ranking to 17.
  4. Osterman said Anderson was spotted at Uptown, so put this one on commitment watch, I'd guess.
  5. XJ was a sixth year senior. Kanaan was a freshman adjusting to the college level, and there's some evidence playing point for Stanford wasn't his best role. His scouting report describes an aggressive three level scorer, not a facilitator. He's also quite good in catch and shoot situations, per numbers posted by Assembly Call. Playing next to a true point in Myles Rice seems like it will fit him well. Freshmen take time, especially at the point. We think fondly of JHS because he had some big games for us, but his efficiency numbers weren't much better than Carlyle's. Kanaan had those games when he popped, too, before falling off over the last month. I can only imagine how the game would have slowed down for JHS in year two. Kanaan seems to have all the tools and the mindset needed to make a big leap.
  6. Don't know about that specifically. Though they're both rising sophomores, Rice was two classes ahead of Carlyle, so I'm not sure how much they would have played together. But they're both from the Atlanta area and I've heard it said they're buds.
  7. Myles Rice is back in town, per his Instagram. Good for Rice, because it's Little 500, but good for Kanaan Carlyle who visits this weekend as well. I know Carlyle's been assumed for a while now, but I'll take any good vibes I can get until it's official.
  8. Given what I know of players past and present, and the degenerates on this board, if the rapture happened I don't think the college basketball world would notice. 😄
  9. Chucky Hepburn joining AJ Storr in leaving Wisconsin for the portal. Badgers getting thin.
  10. Having two excellent post players wasn't our problem last year, and won't be this year. The issue was we offered next to nothing in the backcourt to balance them out. Adding Rice and Carlyle, with Mgbako, Galloway and Tucker on the wing, has real potential to change that dynamic.
