It certainly may have. It reminded me of how some AAU venues feel, so the players should have some familiarity with it. It didn't seem to bother Bates, Geronimo, Thompson and others.

You are right that was specific to scoring / efficiency. Xavier is a way more dynamic playmaker and facilitator of his teammates, and he is a better defender. Devonte has a much better looking shot and Xavier likely won't have games where he makes six threes or anything like that."
