  1. From the cbs article someone else posted IU fell to 15-34 in Quad 1 games under Woodson when accounting for Tuesday's result, and 1-5 this season. Vanderbilt, Western Kentucky and La Salle have just as many wins vs. Quad 1 opponents this season, and on fewer attempts. He's likely to leave his post with two NCAA Tournament appearances and one NCAA Tournament win in four seasons. "We've had some good games against big-time opponents over the three years; the record doesn't indicate that," Woodson said. Again: this is Indiana, not some up-and-coming Division II school. The record is the point, and IU was once considered the standard. Now it is a laughingstock.
  2. Do quad one wins count on the day they happen or can those change? For example, if OSU turns into quad two at the end of season, how is that addressed?
  3. Watching Creighton. We would have been much better off had we hired McDermott eight years ago instead of Archie. Good ball movement. On D they pressure the ball but have excellent help principles. He’s got a good record against UConn. They look competent and much better to watch than the crap we’ve been subjected to.
  4. I’m surprised you didn’t say that IU is so poor that Woody will coach until he’s 80 and then BRADY Stevens will take over.
  5. I didn’t realize that Liam McNeely got hurt. He’s out until the end of January with a high ankle sprain, or as IU would say, a “lower body injury, timetable uncertain.”
  6. Kind of a top heavy roster. Their second unit doesn’t look great and the starters play heavy minutes.
  7. Goode was tremendous. Carlyle had his game of the year. If Carlyle and Rice ever got untracked together, we’d be a different team. Then you could reduce Mbako’s minutes heavily.
  8. It’s funny watching Diebler in the huddle telling them not to take a 1 on 3 three pointer or a wild off balance shot with your off hand. That’s an indictment of not having a well schooled team.
  9. We are still in this because we haven’t self-sabotaged like we usually do.
  10. Can you imagine if Mbako were as good as he thinks he is?
  11. Eek two poorly coached teams. The nice thing is they are locked into theirs. Three legit bad coaches in the conference. These two and Ben Johnson.
  12. Rice isn’t quite the player I thought he was. I thought he was a lot savvier than the reality.
