We aren't going to move out of the NYC market.  I know Rutgers is in NJ, but it is the closest thing to a state school for New York outside of Syracuse.

I'm not sure the NYC market even cares about college sports with the multitude of pro teams there. Or, if it does, Rutgers doesn't play a big role. More likely you would see all the transplants watching their alma maters rather than Rutgers.

A three man class like that would be good.  A big, a guard, and a taller wing.

And honestly, ‘23 might be where we really get going.  Woody has more time there and they are on some very good prospects.

And Gunn who is already on board! Everyone forgets about Gunn... 😥

    And, I would add:

Now, in the past couple of years, home prices have skyrocketed due to COVID, money printing, etc. But prior to that, from 1973 to 2015, home prices per square foot (inflation adjusted) remained remarkably constant. What changed was how much larger homes became, although households became smaller (i.e. the SF per individual increased dramatically)

What changed is that wages did not keep pace. Wages have been remarkably stagnant and home prices have outpaced wage growth considerably.

  4. It's a lot simpler than all this generational angst.

Every coach in every program sells kids on becoming part of the "family" an having a "family atmosphere." These kids are basically saying the coach doesn't care about them off the basketball court. They were lied to and they're upset about it. More than that, it sounds like the WANT to have that family atmosphere but get nothing from Gard to support it.

Simple enough without dragging "micro aggressions" or "kids these days" or whatever else into the conversation.

  5. Man, there is some reaaaallllyyy amateur hour stuff from local reporters AND everyone's favorite Gregg Doyel in this video.

    -"How was your golf game"

    -Another golf question

-"Why are you talking to us?" (is this a question a supposed "reporter" has ever asked someone at media availability? Just ridiculous)

-The one guy whose name was called an said "I'm good"

We have a brand new head coach with a bunch of new players and these are some of the questions that get thrown out? Jesus.

Credit to Bozich and our friend Mike for asking substantive questions that got us real answers.

I think that is exactly what it means. These prep schools travel across the country to play in showcase tournaments which gives the athletes exposure. It is like an extended AAU season.

Does UNC, for example, have any trouble finding and watching top players in the state of Indiana? Has to be more to it than that.
