I’ve given you cold hard facts about the state of the two sports who generate money for this university. Neither are any good and haven’t been for awhile. I get it, you’re happy to support the university through the thick and thin. It’s admirable.
But for those of us who live in the real world, the product sucks. And inept leadership at the top has played a massive part. When you hire a bunch of clowns, you should expect the circus. You get what you pay for.
You cannot answer a simple question.
Nothing you say has any validity.
Either you provide evidence that you have the business acumen to prove your claims or stfu

I’m starting to think you are a family member of Woody or somebody in the athletic department because you seem thrilled with mediocrity. No offense.
No offense taken.
Not thrilled with the current state of the team.
Not thrilled with you or anyone who thinks that there needs to be a change

Cope
Again. Deflecting because you can’t answer the request.
You are just some schmo who wants to take shots at the program because it isn’t meeting your expectations.
You have not provided any evidence that you have the qualifications to judge the coaching staff .Just another guy who wants to blow hard.
Cope or don’t. I couldn’t care less

I want to thank you for this thread.
Anything positive is appreciated and helps to negate what seems to be the accepted path this board is headed towards.
Thank you!

6 tournaments since 2008 is a fact, not an opinion. For a supposed basketball school, that’s horrid.
Indiana’s 71-110 record in football since 2008 is a fact, not an opinion. It’s the worst record of any B10 team who has been a full-time member at the time of Glass’ hiring.
Still have not provided any information that qualifies you to make the statements you make.
Is it that hard to read what is asked of you and respond appropriately?
What qualifications do you have that gives you the expertise to make the claims you make?

I’m guessing most (if not all) folks here think Dakich is a nut job? The guy was trying to throw shade at Rapheal Davis on Twitter and they’ve been going back and forth. What a hack.
For the last time I will ever say this…
No one cares

Because quality athletic departments aren’t run by amateurs. Indiana is the worst P5 football program in the history of the sport. And while that isn’t new to Glass and now Dolson’s tenure, the facilities are bottom of the barrel compared to our B10 peers. And while it’s one thing to neglect football at the sake of being a “basketball school”, Indiana can no longer say that. IU has reached the tournament 5 times since 2008 (the time of Glass hire) and on the verge missing out once again with a losing record to boot. All while real “basketball schools” like Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, and North Carolina all had football teams with winning records this year.
You don’t need to be an expert to realize what kind of ineptness plagues the athletic department. The results speak for themselves.
These are all your opinions.
You have no facts to back up what you are claiming.
Your posts are based on an agenda that doesn’t support the facts.
Keep trying though.
And for the mods who agree that I am disrespectful, or a bully…
Provide some facts that we are the worst P5 run university.
Otherwise, state that your blather is nothing more than your opinion.

The fact that our two revenue-generating sports have been completely run into the ground the last 15 years. Umm hello?
You deflected from the question.
I don’t care about what your opinion is.
What makes you the expert to judge professional people on their decisions?

I keep reading "we have way too much talent..." and also "we have the worst backcourt in the Big Ten". So it's one or the other.
Unfortunately we have not had our full team intact since the Harvard game. That fact seems to be ignored by many here

So is positive energy. So go post something positive and quit the nonstop whining..
This crap is why I am done.
Wlnobody let's positive or negative vbes permeate. We let people post their views.
So post an opposing view and move the heck on.
It's not hard.
I am out of here people. It's been a great many years. But a handful around here just make it not worth it anymore.
Too many self indulging nonsense that has nothing to donwith sports
Good luck guys, It's been a great great run. It's done for me.
Yet when someone is called poisonous, no response.
When the coach is called sleepy, Droopy… nothing to do with basketball… no response.
Or when his age is called into question… definitely an ageism issue. No response.
I think all that some people are asking for is that the board is moderated fairly both ways

But he's perfectly fine still watching a crap ton of games and knowing tons of details about it and making a handsome coin to sit and talk about it all weekend.
If he can make a good amount that supports his lifestyle he would be an idiot to get back into coaching.
College coaching has now become…-Season and recruiting
-Season ends and have to re recruit your team so they don’t enter the portal
-Recruiting the portal and managing NIL
-Fall practice starts
There is literally no down time for a college coach

Thats why we ended up with Archie Miller and now Mike Woodson. Its Because this school doesn't want another Bob Knight, a coach bigger than life. A school known by who the coach is, not the school. We must face we are who we are. Until the Big donors all dry up, this is it folks.
Do you know that as a fact, or is this just your opinion? If the latter, please state that

Some of the major boosters are getting very frustrated by the way things are being done within the program. Not saying that will be the deciding factor but it is usually a big first step in coaching changes happening other than on court results of course.
So then, why not wait and see how the season plays out? If they go on a winning streak, this all will be premature.
And if they are that dissatisfied, they sure as hell better have a replacement lined up.

The Montverde pipeline is one that we have made great inroads in. If we can continue to get a guy or two from there on a consistent basis, it would be asinine to not recruit them. Add at least 1-2 of the top ten Indiana guys and then supplement from elsewhere on an as needed basis.
As an example, I really wanted Fland. Point guards from the NYC area are gold Jerry, gold.

Pet peeve in a round about way…
My car told me that it was 43 degrees up here in NE Indiana. Guess that translates to “ get your shorts out.”
Which leads to my peeve that there will be a bunch of sick people around town next week 😡

You'd be surprised. I know the parents do....been countless of examples of parents going rogue on message boards.
Honestly unless I was the most head strong person in the world or better yet the leader of a top 5 team I'd probably have to cut ties with social media in an up and down season. Problem is social media is where they make the loot.
I thought for a while there that Leal's mom posted here.
