  1. I’m sorry. I thought you were referring to the CMW tenure. I don’t know what we are “mired in”. If we don’t make the tournament this year, it will be the first of his tenure.
  2. pUKe was 9-16 just a few years ago. Their head coach didn’t go anywhere
  3. Listening to the Herd on Sirius. Chargers lost 7 games by 3 points or less. My only concern is that their skill players are either getting older, are injury prone, or both
  4. I can’t help but see this as a parallel to Pete Carroll. Take a team to the championship game and then bail on the school to escape repercussions from his actions. No respect for Carroll and no respect for Harbaugh
  5. We have a dense fog advisory tonight. Evidently the brainy fog is a no show 😛😛😛
  6. No, while drinking a glass of wine and enjoying a cigar.
  7. And, by the way, your link at the bottom of your posts goes to a Twitter comment by Coach Adranga, nothing to do with Fisch, who by the way has clarified his comments during the Wisconsin game to explain that he was not criticizing the coaching or the team, but upset over another flagrant 2 call.
  8. If this shows anything, it's that the fans are engaged, not apathetic. It could very well signify that the fans are a source of problem if the majority of the 1 million are disgruntled and complaining.
  9. Agree with some/most of this. Crean's tenure was marred with problems with kids from "The Movement." He had others as well who created problems. I would not characterize his culture as "healthy' without somehow fitting in the concept that it was tainted.
  10. Yeah, no doubt. Just saying that the fans on here have not done a good job. Myself included
  11. Maybe… Have you read the game threads lately?
  12. You are correct. He had Brown and Julio at the same time, which is about the same
  13. Someone said that whoever had the ball last in the Bills-Chiefs game would win. I am starting to agree with that
  14. THD became a much bigger threat because he became a much better passer out of the post. He also became better/more confident in his handle. Ware has significantly improved his game. From a guy whose motor was in question, he has become almost an automatic double-double.
  15. He won in a crappy division. He won 2 playoff games in the same season which means the other 3 years he was one and done in the playoffs. He could not win having Henry, Hopkins and Brown on the same team.
  16. Nope. Just hate that the Colts had a wasted year from the 4th overall pick due to his inability to make good decisions to keep him in games. Meanwhile the other two rookie quarterbacks in the division got significantly more experience on the field and are way ahead of where AR is.
  17. I finished the most recent book last week. Love the Follett historical novels
  18. Does this mean that the swimsuit issue was all AI? 😂😂😂
  19. At least he stayed healthy to play the entire season v the guy that the Colts drafted who could only finish one game
  20. What’s all the Vrabel love about? Winning % regular season of 55%. 2-3 in the playoffs and never made it to the Super Bowl. Coached in a division that was mediocre at best for the majority of his tenure.
  21. I do not think CMW should be fired after this season. And the bottom line is that he is ultimately responsible for the results on the floor. However… I did some reading about the responsibilities of the rest of the staff. From what I understand, Kenya is the primary guy in developing the bigs. I think we can all agree that he has done an excellent job over the last 3 years. I’m not as clear as to who is the guy working with the 1-3 positions. I did read that Calbert’s title is Director of Player Development. I don’t know whether he is succeeding in that role or if he is just the administrator and the assistant coaches are the hands on guys. All that said, I do believe that the staff needs to be evaluated this offseason and it might be time for an upgrade. I would look at how Michigan has brought in Martelli as essentially a second head coach to Howard. I think Dolsen should look at a May or Michael Lewis for the spot with the understanding/agreement that he takes over either at Woodson’s retirement or removal. Call it an exit strategy… done all the time in corporate management.
  22. Agreed, but what is he going to sell to recruits other than playing time and NIL $$$? Maybe that’s enough for some guys. Certainly can’t make any promises about a long tournament run and the visibility that comes with it
