I love the Bucks calm and business like demeanor. If you watch the press conferences every guy is on the same page. They really believe it’s all about them focusing on themselves and each doing what their job is. And their bench seems to all have an edge to them. but the big variable with this team always seems to be Middleton. If he’s on his A Game they’re SO hard to beat. I’ve watched his growth as a player and it’s pretty amazing. I can’t quite pin what player(s) he reminds me of. He isn’t a great athlet’s but it’s VERY crafty and knows how to create space, pick his spots, and take advantage of miss matches. Love his game because it is NOT flashy. He’s bland like Duncan and crafty like Reggie Miller.

Yup. A tech would mean you beat a guy to the GROUND, and maybe sent him to the hospital. Even Lebron would be SO shell shocked. BUT with his frame if he had lived then he probably would’ve been tough and gosh that would’ve made him awesome.

Can you imagine 80-90% of these “jack it from the arc” players playing in the 80s-90s and learning that the way we defend that is play in your face and let you drive and when you get to the rim foul you so fricken hard you never want to drive again? 😂 i youtubed a video of hard fouls in the NBA back then and my son watched it and he just sat there jaw dropped...

Not taking it disrespectful at all. Logically as far as history goes the Bucks should not stand a chance because every team needs a few years to learn how to get to and win in the finals. So I’m against the eight ball already..but messages boards are about fun so I’m gonna stick my neck out. Ive followed the NBA for many years and I believe the Bucks have “it.” I could write 3-4 paragraphs why but suffice it to say this is my stand... Bucks beat the Celtics in 6 games. Bucks beat the Raptors in 6. Bucks lose to the Warriors in 6 and most fans look at each other saying “omg they were a couple shots from forcing a game 7!” Thats my prediction. I believe this Bucks team is WAY different than most young and Talented teams. Yes they’re a talented but also mature beyond their years. They’re not even close to the same team they were last year at this time. Not close.

I believe that the Bucks COULD upset the Warriors in a seven game series IF they can hold home court in the first two and steal ONE on the road. I think they have enough shooters around Giannis that it’s POSSIBLE. I give it better than a 5% chance for sure. But as a Bucks fan I’m pulling for ANYONE to upset the Warriors. Lol

I don’t follow the Pacers as closely as all of you do but seriously...come on...hoe many teams could lose their top player and not show the impact? The fact that the Pacers still stayed where they were and made the playoffs is at least a small win. Losing a player of Vic’s caliber changes way more than just his stats. imagine if the Bucks had lost Giannis? Or the rockets lost James? Would their fans be irrational to complain that they lost in the first round and struggled to compete? Plus it’s not like the Pacers have a few stars...it appears to be a team built around Vic being the man and everyone complimenting around HIM. So of course they’re gonna look like a shadow of what they should be. 🤷🏻‍♂️

For you Pacer Fans...what sort of changes could be made? Realistically. I’m sort of a half Pacers fan mostly Bucks because I follow ZERO teams in Wisconsin besides the Bucks...

Someone on a previous message board had a long post that was very enlightening about how the Big Ten is a research based university conference (if I remember) and they won’t just add and subtract teams based solely on athletics. The person explained the depth of all of this but that it’s never going to come down to just “that team is good at sports so let’s add them to The Big.” There are academic standards and philosophy standards that might not ever be budged upon. I’m sure someone else can fill that info gap in A lot better than I can. But I remember learning a ton from that poster’s posts.

Texas OWNS the Big 12 and will expect to own any conference they step into. The Big Ten would never cater to their demands and ego, nor should they, and Texas would know that. Texas makes more money for themselves and has about a bigger budget than the entire rest of the Big 12 combined I’ve heard. I’ve also heard they don’t even divide up the ratings evenly in the conference from their TV network because texas demands a MUCH larger chunk than anyone and they’ll get it because if they did their own dang TV NETWORK, they could make money and it would kill the Big 12’s network. texas is a Beast

I know I’m tainted as a Bucks fan but this is how I see it also. It seems like now a days people don’t even look at defense. I always remember that being s legit part of the equation for determining how good a player was. I mean that is HALF of your job in the game of basketball.
