I'm also surprised he isn't being talked about more considering a lot of people love multi year players.  Plus he's elite, top scorer in EYBL.  Could see him going pro after two or three years.  I bet the staff is pushing harder than we think.

Apparently he's taking an official visit in February.

Yeah I was thinking he'd be first off the bench but could start depending on how CMW wants to run.

I think people are forgetting that these rankings still have a long way to go as more players get evaluated.  I could easily see Kaleb jumping up around the top 75 if he keeps performing well at these camps and such.

Pretty good feeling this kid is going to end up in the ACC.  Just picked up an offer from North Carolina. 

The 4 are IU, Louisville, Alabama, and Georgetown. 

Do we think this is the end of this recruiting class?

I'd like to see us get two PGs in the 2022 class because by then Al, Rob, and potentially Khristian will all be gone.  Maybe one highly ranked who can come in right away and play then one other like Walker who may need a little more time.

What I thought as well lol.  It'll be interesting to see how they run the program and who they play.  I know the MLS academies play all the big clubs in Europe in tournaments and such so maybe they'll do something like that when covid clears up.

Real Salt Lake Academy is the academy for the Real Salt Lake MLS team and this will be first season with a basketball team.  Very interesting he'd choose to play there when I'm sure he could've gone to Montverde, LaLu, or even Wasatch Academy in Utah.  He's only a sophomore so I wouldn't be surprised if he moves again to another prep school like LaLu or even comes back to regular Indiana high school basketball.

I can definitely see us getting him and I could even see us taking him in 2021.  He already released down so it likely wouldnt be hard for him to move back up.  He likely wont be a big minutes player his freshman year due to his scoring but he would be good as a second year guy or maybe even redshirt then pair with another guard in the 2022 class like Thornton, Trejuan Holloman or Leland Walker.

Anyone know of anyone we are still actively recruiting for 2021 other than AM and MM?  I'm not freaking out because there are still so many options with players still uncommitted, transfers, and reclasses but regardless I think we should at least know about some other names.  I'm pretty sure we are talking to that big from Finland or whatever but not sure if he'll get an offer.  Another 2021 name I remember is Nate Johnson from Ohio.  He is currently ranked 266 on 247sports but I remember he was on the verge of breaking out over the summer.  If he does well this school season and we miss on AM I could see us taking him.  I know @CoachSS even preferred him to AM over the summer and would love to hear how he thinks he's come along.

Not exactly, but he committed when he was a sophomore.  Lots of times kids see the allure of playing for the hometown school when they are young then realize they want a more high profile recruitment.  Usually that's the reason for cases like this.

Nice article on Avery.  If the rumors of a commitment of a 2022 player are true I feel he would be the most likely. 

I'm shocked the next PG offer in this class wasn't Leland Walker.
