  1. In the Charlie Hughes Shootout yesterday (150 teams), Lawrence North soundly defeated Flory's Kokomo team 95-68. Almost a 30-point thrashing. Myles Baker had 24 points for LN, with seven 3-pointers. IU recruit Azavier Robinson had 21. Flory Bidunga 19 points for Kokomo. Kokomo needs shooters to help Flory. This is a good lesson for him. I hope Gabe Cupps texts him that if Flory comes to Indiana, Gabe will personally make sure no one double teams him in college.
  2. A terrific article with Woodson's comments on Trayce and JHS futures. JHS: "He never let us down. We’ll be talking about him in 10 years because he’ll have a solid career in the NBA.” Trayce: "There is nothing he cannot do. He is NBA ready. Golden State got a hell of a player." Lots more here: https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/mike-woodson-sees-bright-nba-futures-for-jalen-hood-schifino-and-trayce-jackson-davis/ Plus: Jalen arrives in Los Angeles:
  3. From Rivals today: "The smart money is on Dylan Harper landing at either Indiana, Rutgers, or Duke." With this Indiana coaching staff, I like our chances. Also on Rivals, this fun tidbit: "John Calipari’s future as Kentucky's head coach is more in doubt than it’s ever been."
  4. I read Williams could be involved in the Iowa and Iowa State gambling probe. So, all bets are off on this guy. Ta dum, dum.
  5. Sorry if already posted. This thread moves fast lately.
  6. And we have neither imo. I Googled Batman Basketball. Was not disappointed.
  7. He'll always be part of the Temple-Iowa State-Illinois family.
  8. Several new and highly ranked 2025 players here from TheDailyHoosier, with Indiana interest or visits. Most top 25 or top 50. Many I haven't heard of. We're officially a school that recruits nationally now. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/iu-basketball-staff-begins-direct-contact-with-class-of-2025-some-names-to-watch/
  9. Various chatter from a few sites: if Jaylen enters the portal, Indiana is favored. And that Jaylen would be one of the best players on the team, and maybe the conference. I don't know if this is true, or if it's a bunch of people feeding off each other's posts. Rupp Rafters has a thread that says Indiana is the leader - keeping in mind that Jaylen isn't even officially available yet, if ever. Maybe something will happen here, or maybe it fizzles out. Just my opinion from what's online. I'm no insider.
  10. Guy: Will you go to the prom with me? Girl: That sounds awesome! Guy: Great, so it's a date? Girl: It's just wonderful that you asked me. Guy: Uh, okay. Is that a yes? Girl: It sounds like the best time. Guy: Is. That. A. Yes??? Girl: I'm saying yes to the idea of us going to the prom. Guy: What does that even mean? Are we going to the prom together or not? Girl: Wouldn't it be amazing if we did? It makes me happy just thinking about it. Guy: Is your sister at home?
  11. Kiyan this week about Indiana: (background: Mike Woodson coached his dad Carmelo Anthony at the NY Knicks.) “I used to be the little kid in the locker room, running around, when he was coaching my dad. (Woodson) is like a mentor to me, more than anything. If I do go to Indiana, it’s going to be great. I feel like he would put me in positions to score. He will build around me, get players that do what I do, score and also shoot the ball, defend. I’m just ready for him to reach out to me on June 15th and we will go from there.” "If I do go to Indiana, it's going to be great." - I love that. This coaching staff is awesome.
  12. JHS can invite up to 10 guests to the Green Room. Expect Mike Woodson, along with family and agent. It would be awesome if he had some spots for the 2024 Montverde players we're recruiting.
  13. This was posted by Montverde Academy Basketball twitter, along with several others of JHS in his Indiana jersey. No doubt all their current players we're recruiting see these.
  14. hahaha, he's arm-checking his little brother at the 24-second mark. btw, he's close to his kid brother, and it looks like they're having fun here. I hope the whole family did.
  15. 6'8" 185 lbs. Ranked top 30. As posted by KDB above, visiting IU June 14 - 16. Tyler: "I really liked what they did with Jalen Hood-Schifino. He wasn’t a one a done to start the season so it really shows the work they did. They had a plan and now we see it pay off.” I'll say again, with this coaching staff, I like our chances with any player we get on campus. The professionalism and focus of our recruiting has gone WAY up.
  16. "They had a scrimmage which was cool to watch. And after that when they were breaking down the huddle they brought me in the huddle and allowed me to introduce myself to the team. So all of that was cool."
  17. Many experts said Hanner Perea was a one-and-done. Maybe lottery. I remember seeing this video and thinking he was unstoppable.
  18. Boogie Fland and Tyler Betsey both visiting Indiana next week, per TheDailyHoosier. Both are top 15 in the class of 2024. Betsey is an AAU teammate of IU target and top-ranked Dylan Harper. I like our chances when this coaching staff gets kids on campus.
  20. Many say we have no chance. But Flory has visited many times, and really enjoyed them. His smiles are genuine. Gabe Cupps recruits him constantly. Trayce looked for him immediately after we beat then #1 Purdue at home on national television. Flory says relationships matter to him. I can't think of anyone who has been better recruited by Indiana.
  21. I'm for Denver, but I won't relax until the series is over and Denver has the trophy in their hands.
