Dusty May. Finally an IU alum, who's up and coming, having success, very likable, fun style of play, and cheap enough for us to hire.

And we are going to let him go to Louisville.

It is extremely hard to be a fan of this program. It really is.

Agreed. I know May is not a consensus pick for IU's next head coach. But.... If IU were thinking about him as a serious candidate and he had any interest in IU, I think we should offer pay him    1-2 M to keep him at FAU until we Fi/retire CMW. Seems crazy. But, that would be much cheaper in the end than buying him out from Louisville or other. If he has success this year and next, we would have a better sense of his coaching etc. If he turns out to be a bust, we could move on and the loss would be relatively small. Seems incredibly absurd at first glance then you look at what IU has spent on hires and buyouts since RMK.

p.s. Great to see Kentucky lost tonight. They said only 1 win in 4 years in the tournament.

They were 4-26 last year and 5-25 this year.  Not surprised she got fired oof.  But maybe wait until after the mandatory media session to do it.

Ouch. That was brutal. TBH I think an TRUE Utah State fan should have seen the positive trend in season wins and kept quiet. 🤐

Cuban was in Bloomington and stayed at the Union this weekend. That’s a fact but other than that who knows.

I was wondering the significance (if any) about that. I was in Bloomington this weekend for a campus tour for my son and just missed him at our hotel, the Graduate (nice hotel btw). My wife got on an elevator with a woman that had just taken a photo with him who was so excited to show her.

  4. It's sad to know I have reached that point again in my IUBB fan cycle of coming here and ITH and basically anywhere over and over daily to see if the big announcement of the firing of the HC has happened. Really hoping to see something after another embarrassing home loss last night.

While I am not supporting fan booing, it does get noticed. It's sadly becoming an IU tradition; a rite of passage for soon to be former HC. Perhaps the booing, emails, etc. will help the AD do what he needs to do to  'get this program over the hump.'

I watched the video above with the guy breaking down CMW as the Knick's HC. NGL, that one got to me. It was posted 10 years ago and he has not changed one bit. If there is no change at HC, there will be no change in IUBB and more of this. 💩

I envision that when APRs start to plummet due to athletes being out of the classroom due to excessive travel time that the sham that is being positioned as the “student athlete “ will no longer exist. I can see multiple teams becoming ineligible for tournament play due to not meeting the grade requirements. That will end when it happens the first time and players will become employees who have the option of going to class or not.

The only logical solution to this concern is to expedite the addition of UNC to the B1G. We can then tap into their extensive knowledge base and expertise in making the problems all go away. 🤓

Sure but can’t tour with a recruit and if he is on drugs, don’t really want him on a zoom in bed.

if it is TKR, ACL, etc it is at least a week until they can get around and even then is limited.

You would be surprised. Many are sent out with little pain meds these days. Patients are instructed to get up and out of bed and back into a routine and rehab immediately. It’s amazing what Ortho has done with cutting back time. It used to be 3 days post op discharge in my hospital now it is same day. People are not drugged up as they used to be with post op pain pumps. All gone now.

Since Woodson's knee surgery has been in the middle of this recruiting process, I was wondering what the recovery time was. I don't have clue as to what kind of surgery he had, whether it was major or somewhat simple. When can he up, out and about? Does he need a few days or several weeks of recovery and or rehab? Just curious.

Most elective knee surgeries are same day. Here patients even go home same day for total knee replacements barring complications or special circumstances. He would be able to be up same day and certainly could be on the phone or zoom meetings if needed/desired.

  8. I called and spoke with someone in the IU Athletic Department. They are holding all the lower arena tickets and starting a waiting list. Tickets are given out in some system of priority based on a points program and donor status, etc. She wasn't sure when they would release the remaining tickets to the public. Mystery solved.  I will probably just get the upper balcony tickets now to have a seat. Thanks everyone.

  9. Hey guys, I was looking to get tickets to the Hoosier Classic to take my son. We will be visiting up during that weekend and thought I would take him to his first IU game. I was looking at TM, Stubhub, Seatgeek and you can't get anything lower than the upper bowl. That surprised me. I have never been at the Gainbridge center so I was thinking of trying to get something a little closer. I can't believe all the tickets are sold out and not one person wants to resell. I am an old guy so I must be missing something. Any thoughts?

Not a fan of either ball club, but what an awesome game!

Man you can definitely see the difference in caliber of players between the Hoosiers and either of these two teams.

    Maybe someday.....

Just got back from the game with my son. It was an amazing game. Talent difference was on full display tonight. I loved that I saw a great game UNC V Duke and really didn’t worry or care which team won. Either team lose and I was happy. Nice to see both fan bases hate on each other.

Kansas looked the really good. Probably the best
