Why are you dismissing chemistry?  It's pretty dang important.

Brad Stevens is a winning, team-oriented coach.  While talented, I don't think Kyrie particularly fits in that environment.  He may be better off with the Tyronne Lues of the world.

I wasn't dismissing chemistry but rather saying that the chemistry was Kyrie's biggest issue with the Celtics. Besides that, Kyrie is still the better player than Kemba and even if the Celtics had great chemistry, they don't get past the Bucks

I was joking about Taco, but Kemba is a big upgrade over Kyrie, and even removing my Romeo bias,  I think the Celts drafted very well.

I can't see Boston being lower rhan the 3 seed.

Besides the chemistry, how is Kemba Walker an upgrade over Kyrie Irving?????

Yes if Vic was back I think Boston still wins, however I think it is a 7 game series similar to last season.

If the Pacers want to advance to the next round of the playoffs, they need another guy on or very close to Vics level.  If they somehow end up as a 1-3 seed then they could handle a 6-8 seeded team.  However if they continually end up as the 4 or 5 seed, another guy close to the level of Vic will be needed.

Well if Vic was still healthy, the Pacers have the 3 seed and this isn't a conversation.

I'm not sure what's happening? IUScott said the main reason the Celtics won was because of Steven's.

I responded and said it wasnt just Steven's, that without Oladipo the Celtics clearly have the better roster, and then I said if Oladipo was healthy it would have been a much different series.

I'm not following the disagreement to any of that?

Even if the Pacers have Vic, Boston still wins the series.

I respect the knowledge on this board. So I’m gonna ask this question...how good long term can’t giannis become? Assuming he stays healthy...

Dude is already a top 5 player in the league and some can argue top 3. He will be the best player in the league soon

Well when we made the PG trade everyone couldn't believe we got much back for him.  When you have a player who is a year from free agency and pretty much made it known that he is not coming back you will not get back true value.

Paul George isn't Anthony Davis though. I can guarantee that the Pelicans are going to try and get as much value as they can from trading him

This is my trade idea but probably would not work

    New Orleans get

    Turner

    Holiday

    Leaf

    Draft picks

    Pacers get

    Anthony Davis

If we had Walker and Vic maybe Davis would see that he could here and have a big 3 and be life PG and stay in Indy.

Pelicans get no value in this trade lol
