Who is Drew Adams? Is he an elite recruiter?

I personally don’t want Michael Lewis. Not a knock on him but he’s going to get a head coaching gig very soon if not this year definitely next. We need someone who is going to stay 3-4-5 years and build something special. Brian Walsh apparently kills it on the recruiting trail but what can he do differently as an assistant coach and can we bring someone whose just as good as him int his position. If we can’t I’d give him a raise to stay in same position so we can still get an elite recruiter.

I was meaning 12-15 minutes if we replaced Durr with someone way more serviceable than him. As a veteran he made wayyyy too many mistakes.

Oh I completely agree I just dislike Durr that much and was just trying get my point across lol.

If we didn’t have Durr and had someone in his place our bench should be able to play 12-15 minutes. I’d rather have JG play instead of Durr. Everyone has their opinion and you and I 99.999% of the time have the same thought process and agree on things but I have a feeling this is something we just won’t agree on.

To me personally one game doesn’t make you valuable. You have to be able to log meaningful minutes in at least 80-90% of the games. I understand everyone has bad games but he was serviceable in about 5 games only. When your center has to play over 30 minutes in a play in game including all 20 minutes in the second half that’s all I need to know.

I think you make some completely fair points. I just personally feel Durr brings ZERO to the table. It makes sense though that LD wasn’t ready and don’t want to ruin his confidence so I can completely respect that.

I really hope Durr transfers. IMO he brings absolutely nothing to the table. If he plays over Duncomb then Duncomb is pretty much gone unless Duncomb is starting then I want someone else to back him up. Durr should only play if we need someone to foul. He was a complete disappointment and I wish Woody would’ve noticed it and given Logan a chance.

Unless he gets more NIL money because some IU booster wants him to stay for a dee run in the tourney with players coming in next year.

We are most likely going to lose but getting back to the tourney was a step in the right direction. Next year I think we have so much more depth and the year after even more reinforcements. If we can get a big man in the transfer portal like Notre dame did with Atkinson we are going to be a dangerous team next year when we have guards who can actually shoot. Depth plays and we just don’t have any unfortunately. Great season boys!!!

Miller Kopp was a shooter. He had Anthony Leal and Parker Stewart he also was hired when most recruits were already committed. You’re being absolutely unreasonable with the coaching staff getting recruits. Also he got Tamar bates who was 21st best player in college who shot well in high school but it hasn’t fully translated yet as it typically doesn’t with freshman. If you think In a college game you could ever shoot better than those kids then you’re clearly crazier than I thought.

And that all American turns the ball over at the end of games and missed wide open point blank shot that would’ve given us the lead. That all American misses more layups than any all American I’ve ever seen. The coaches can only do so much when kopp goes 1-6 and Stewart goes 2-7 from 3. Stewart was wide open on those 3s and missed. Coaches don’t make shots. You hold the coaches accountable but do you hold players accountable?

Why does it matter what the nation thinks of us? Do you care what people think of how you dress or what car you drive? Serious question! Also, it’s literally year one of this coaching staff. Woody hasn’t even gotten a full class of recruits yet. I’m two seasons if we don’t make strides then you have every right to be negative but at least try giving it a chance. Do you live your life negative first and then if things in your life go good then you’re positive? I’m trying to understand your mindset without judging you disrespectfully.
