Yes…the Miller Kopp stand in the corner role. Thats a low volume shooting role.

Depends. If Ballo demands a double team from opponents, similar to Edey, there may be a ton of shots for a guy like Leal. Depends on the defensive scheme of opponents. Fletcher Loyer was a high volume shooter this season but I suspect he'll have far fewer open shots next year, and will take less..Anyway, I agree that we need to find a better backup shooting guard and I think we will.

Leal’s not a high volume shooter, nor is he supposed to be…that’s not his role. Leal should not be playing significant minutes next year. If he is, then we didn’t address the needs like we hoped.

Thst could be his role. If we have a couple dynamic guards, his role would be to run to the corner as fast as he can and stand there. They would absolutely have to guard him. Floor spacer. But he absolutely doesn't work in a 2 guard set.

I don't think we want to bring in another big who is a low post player especially if we still start two bigs. I think a guy like Bradshaw might fit what we  need and that is a rim runner and a guy who scored off offensive rebounds. I don't know if we need a Payne or Ballo type unless they come as a backup. Those two aren't going anywhere to be a backup

I'd imagine Bradshaw would most likely come off the bench as well. Hard to say at this point..

I also think the dude from Evansville if he comes here would be great for the second unit when Malik is tired or is in foul trouble. One of our biggests problem since woody has been here is getting scoring from the second unit. If you have Hickman and the dude from Evansville there not as much of an issue

    Agreed. Humrichous is a stud.

  5. Ball State has announced that Jarron Coleman is entering the transfer portal as a grad transfer.

The 6’5” guard started all 30 games, averaging 14.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.3 steals. Coleman shot 35% from deep (68/193).

    All-MAC Second Team selection

    Thoughts??
