We need to see who stays, for me to form a strong opinion on how bad Mike's retention is. You can build a team around Mbacko, Reneau, and Galloway.  That would be a familiar team with Leal, Cupp and Sparks so that next fall I can feel "oh it is good to see you guys again".  I love watching our young men mature.  I like them.  But if it is all new faces, that is not only less fun for me, a complete rebuild with the same coach is laughable.  It should never be this way in year 4.

How do we not find the guys from Japan?

Oh, I figured they lived here maybe.  If they live far away that might be tough for him.  Wonder if he  hits a higher percentage when they attend games.

What I would try at IU with NIL and LEO in mind. Forget the 4 and 5 star money grabbers.  Make it all about team.  Take the football NIL money and divide it among all players by class.  All freshmen get x$.  All sophomores x$.  Same with Juniors and seniors. Each class getting a bit more.  No it won't be much each.  But college kids don't need much.  This would prevent locker room jealousy and really make it about one another.  Those that only want bucks can bail.  We can never hope to have the $ of the big boys.   But we can try and build camaraderie in this new NIL age. 

Give to your favorite.  Whichever one.  Hoosiers for good has a 1,00,0000 match.  It is a completely new world in College Athletics.  We must understand this!!!.  Go Hoosiers.

We need to see how we do when the divisions go away from their current form.  Big ten east is just ridiculously tough.
