  1. No chance that egotistical maniac willing steps down. He's the greatest coach alive. He can fix it! Just don't ask him how, because he hasn't figured it out yet. Still needs to conference with Whitman and Armond.
  2. 100% accurate. Dolson still has time to try and swing some money/supporters. Just as of this moment, May would be the choice.
  3. In this case, I honestly believe it is more that IU BOTs or other decision makers, don't want Pearl. Pearl wants IU.
  4. No, not peegs. They are more concerned with billboard purchases and petitions.
  5. From my understanding, many admins (BOTs or others) still aren't thrilled with his baggage from early years. Now could they change their mind? Sure, with Dolson's help maybe even. However, at this moment in time, it seems May is the leader at the turn.
  6. Absolutely does at this point in time. Also doesn't seem like Pearl is the guy.
  7. In a round about way, yes haha! I don't think Buckner is going to stand in the way of the final decision. I also do not think Pearl will be our guy.
  8. Let's just say from what I have been told, by credible people, Buckner may not be the hump to get over that many think he is. He loves IUBB as much as anyone and also appreciates the role of an AD.
  9. Sounds like there might be some shifting of tones from behind the scenes of those in power positions.
  10. Pearl won't. Some at IU may tell Pearl no thanks. Pearl wants IU. The question is, does IU (BOTs) want Pearl.
  11. First, I agree, Boogie was IUs but Woodson's love of doing nothing cost us. Just for clarity, are you basing the step down/mutual parting is what you are hearing from some of your people or that is just a gut thought? I agree with you on Pearl, I'd love to have him here but some I have also heard don't like his past (which is insane to continue that form of thinking in 2024 when we pay college basketball players with no accountability or monitoring on that front).
  12. I'd love to hear your take on this, other than your cryptic picture (which I enjoy as well). This is not a sarcastic tone either, genuinely curious as to your thoughts/anything you're hearing that leads you to lean one way or the other.
  13. The replies are pretty good too where he answers some questions. More than a few hundred followers like some people who try to spew stuff online. 14. Did a little research comparing who some believe to be the top 2 choices IF a change is made with the HC at IU. Cronin over his last 8 seasons (5 @ UCLA, 3 @ Cincy): Average rankings via Bart Torvik T-Rank (similar as a KenPom rating): 31 Adj. O Rating: 46 Adj. D Rating: 34 Pearl over his last 8 seasons at Auburn: Average rankings via Bart Torvik T-Rank: 33 Adj. O Rating: 31 Adj. D Rating: 57 For fun, IU over those same 8 seasons (Woody 3, Miller 4, Crean 1): Average rankings via Bart Torvik T-Rank: 52 Adj. O Rating: 70 Adj. D Rating: 50 I will say, I was one who argued against Cronin as the top option because of his offensive systems. Looks like he has been actually rather good on that side of the ball overall the last 8 seasons. If you take out this season, which has been an anomaly for him (he didn't have an O rating higher than 56), his O Rating jumps to 31. I am firmly in the camp that a change is almost necessary at this point to save us from the depths of college basketball that IUFB has been in for so long on their side, but I was exclusively only wanting Pearl. Now, give me Pearl or Cronin.
