I may never get to see IU win a national championship, but at least I got to watch Purdue get crushed.

Great season. I wish our men’s team was as fun to watch and showed as much heart. Sad to see their season end.

I think it was especially hard because Northwestern's unis are usually a dark color. I thought maybe the black jerseys would be easier to read with white numbers outlined in red.

I honestly had trouble adjusting watching the game. I kept finding myself rooting for the white uniforms and then quickly correcting myself. Too bad, too, because the white uniforms were usually doing better.

Three things I will note: 1. I was lucky enough to see the score for the PSU game by accident and then opted not to subject myself to watching the game. 2. The women's team is infinitely more enjoyable to watch at this point. 3. I wish our men could shoot the 3 like the women do.

Yep. I saw that setting up and was surprised the camera stayed on her. Censor fail!

I find myself daring to have hope for IU football. It's weird.

This looks like a good hire. Let's hope he becomes the rare IU football coach who runs up a winning record.

Then we announce it is Bill Lynch!

At a minimum, he is just a doom and gloom poster.

Disappointing ending. And count me among the folks who hate deciding the game on penalty kicks. Maybe that's okay in the regular season, but in the College Cup, it should be a war of attrition. First team to score in OT wins.
