Read about Memorial in our local newspaper. That has to be a lousy way to lose. And yes you're right, baseball is a game of inches. Castle had a 1-0 lead at #3 Floyd Central last week. The Knights starting pitcher had a great game until the bottom of the 7th when FC got a runner on base from a dropped 3rd strike. Then with 2 outs, the next kid hits a walk-off 2 run homerun!! Needless to say all of the Castle fans, players and coaches were stunned. Like Memorial, Castle will re-load next year and will be a senior loaded team....

The vibes were electric right before the 7th inning, but the Tigers will have some momentum for 2025
