  1. Me too. I was taking 9.5. That line just moved big time.
  2. Pacers were going to offer $112 mil for 4 years. He's made around 1/5 of that since. This explains it a bit. I sure hope he fired his agent. https://www.sportskeeda.com/basketball/news-after-declining-whopping-112-million-offer-former-all-star-victor-oladipo-humbly-joined-okc-9-million-deal
  3. "Choices? Voices?" Think about what Oladipo walked away from with what the Pacers offered him with an extension? He lost tens of millions.
  4. I don't think Ware and MR can be on the floor at the same time. Everything is clogged and IU isn't a 3 point shooting team (year after year). Seems to be a liability on defense too. Problem is that they are two of your best players. I would love to see MM play the 4 spot and increase the tempo on offense and defense. Sparks looked okay but again he's strictly a back to the basket guy. Be interesting to see what changes Woody does for the next game. The first two games clearly isn't a successful blueprint. Also, Florida Gulf Coast squeaked by Ave Maria Friday night. YIKES!
  5. IMO... MR isn't nearly athletic enough to play in the NBA. I don't think it's really that close either. I hope he has a great year and career at IU.
  6. Basketball competition being compared to infidelity???
  7. Exactly! I turn the game on a couple times a week for a few hours to be entertained from the sometimes day to day grind of life. I want to see an entertaining product. I have no moral or ethical obligation or interest in how other people decided to handle their personal business/life. Sports are entertainment. CMW and all players and coaches are in the entertainment business.
  8. And he'll be fined and be punished via the legal system. Now... let's go win some ball games.
  9. I have a buddy who goes to an alumni/booster type dinner that Painter has 4-5 times a year during the season. Someone asked Painter if the punishments are the same for discipline issue regardless of who the player is. Long story short he said no. A walk on gets no slack. A kid who can put the ball in basket gets a much longer leash. He actually started the response with " Do I look stupid?"
  10. Remember back when the biggest issue facing a presidential candidate's character was that he didn't serve in the military or whether he inhaled or not? The world has changed for better or worse. Seems like winning it what's really important to many. No I don't think he's being too soft. It's trespassing. A victimless crime. Kline passed out at the wheel. Gillis blew well over twice the legal limit. Those two things are dangerous to innocent people. To be fair X speeding to me is a bigger issue, but in the end it was a traffic violation if I'm not mistaken.
  11. Yawwwwnnnnnn! Give the kid some extra laps, say you're sorry, and sit him a game or two. We got to get Mac going! We got some ball games coming up in a just a few short weeks!
  12. What did you think happend? Trent Sisley committed to IU?🤩
  13. I'm 74 years old. In my lifespan's sample of watching college football and based on the record books of college football Notre Dame is one of the top college football programs of all time. I personally like IU football, but I don't think ND is the most overrated program ever. That's all my original point was.
  14. So we're going to take this back 24 years to find data that supports your opinion. Well if we go back 3 years they are 3-5 vs. top 25. If we go back 35 years they are.... We go back 45 years they are .... If we go back 100 years they are.... I bet if we look at Michigan's, Miami's, FSU we could play this game too. You don't like ND I get it. They are a love them or hate them kind of program.
  15. Yes. They beat them twice in the recent span of 28 wins, but let's not let facts get in the way. Opinions are a much better way to argue.
  16. Okay... you win. They're the most overrated team in America. What was I thinking.
  17. I don't know. Don't really pay attention, but I'm guessing 5 a year. None the less they've beaten 28 power 5 teams in the ACC in a row. Just saying that's strong evidence against them being the most overrated team in America.
  18. Now the ACC isn't a great football conference, but that most overrated team in America has won 28 in a row vs. ACC teams during the regular season.
  19. If IU flipped Big 10 schedules with Turdue last year I think IU gets at least a share of the title
  20. Key to success....gather as much talent and trust that the leadership can build it. That's my .02 on Love.
