If Rob and X can be more consistent the Hoosiers can beat anybody in the country in my opinion. This supposed potential Final Four Purdue team has the same amount of losses in the B1G as the Hoosiers. Only a game and a half out of first in the B1G. I doubt Purdue has seen a defense like that. Purdue looked startled and frustrated by our D, particularly the second ten minutes of the first half, where we excelled. kyhoosier29 Posted January 21, 2022 Report Share Posted January 21, 2022 XJ - his hardest critic (bc I knew he was capable of games like tonight) - phenomenal game - that’s the guy (lack of turnovers most importantly) we need every game. RP - big shot Rob - we can play with anybody if our guards don’t turn it over and play D. Great work from Durr, TG, and JG - gave us everything we needed off the bench. RT with another consistent, solid contribution. Some of the lineups, changes, etc were puzzling, but the only negatives were the free throw shooting and TJD (although he did hit two big FTs at the end).
