HoosierFaithful
I just cleared the cache from the server side - please let me know if the folks this is affecting are seeing any breakthrough. You may need to refresh and clear cache on your side as well.

You may need to refresh and clear cache on your side as well. Tried it. Works on the first try paging through a thread, but 2nd time it's like hitting a dead link. It's been 15 or so years since I've written in html, but I thought the server kept a log of any rejected redirects... So in an effort to find commonalities, I'm using Chrome, Android 12, on a Pixel 6 Pro. It also happens on my laptop using Chrome on Windows 10. Anyone else experiencing issues should post what they're using as well. Thanks @HoosierFaithful for trying to solve this...

But, now that you mention it, I do use Chrome on my phone and I had noticed the 'Next/Previous Page' issue. I usually just automatically go to the last page, so it's not been a huge problem. I thought it might just be my phone (which is not the latest and greatest). But seeing your email I tried it and am experiencing exactly what you called out. Additionally I've found I can't link a webpage without simply pasting it in the response window. I can't use the link feature...
5fouls
@HoosierFaithful. Welp, as mentioned above, I was having the same problem as @IUFLAwhen I was using Chrome. I had not noticed it using Edge on my LAPTOP because traffic has been a little slow and I usually was up to date reading. But, I tried to navigate back one page tonight and could not do it. Nor, could I select the page number I wanted and navigate that way. So, I tried Firefox. Worked the first time I did it. Did not work after that. Just wanted you to know it wasn't just IUFLA. I suspect others are experiencing it as well and just haven't noticed it. Obviously, something we need to get fixed.
IUFLA
So I can't even page through different forums. If a topic is on the 2nd or subsequent pages in a particular forum, I can't go to it. Page 1 only. Also can't post YouTube links right into the response window and have the video show up. I hope we can find a solution. I've been scouring the internet trying to find one. HoosierFaithful
We're in an unfortunate scenario where I have to troubleshoot particular settings on/off to see what may cause this. When we upgraded our software and finished host transfer, two old plugins may have been what is causing this. I just turned those off. Let me know, if not, there is another setting I'd like to play around with.
HoosierFaithful
Just ran through a different security/software update today that may also fix the above ^^ as always, please clear cookies/cache on your side as well to ensure the update cycles through your system. IUFLA
Still getting the same results on both my laptop and my phone. Deleted all history on both, including cache and cookies. Can't page through topics, and unless the page number for a certain topic is visible in the forum view, I can't go to any page in the thread. What I was trying to say is that I cleared my cookies and cache again (a second time) in Edge and it helped with navigation. But, apparently now it won't publish anything I try to post! 5fouls
@IUFLA Have you tried signing completely out of HSN and signing back in? I stumbled across that on my laptop, where I was having intermittent issue and it seemed to work. i then tried it on my phone, where I had no even cleared cache or cookies, and it fixed my navigation issues. Edit. Works in short term and then navigation stops unless I sign out again. Edited May 14, 2022 by 5fouls

I'd have been toast in the Luke Brown thread 😁 It is weird that when I sign out, I can do things like page through that I can't when I sign in... At least I'll be able to read on my phone, just won't be able to quote if I can't get back to a post while signed in. HoosierFaithful
We are getting closer - as a temporary workaround, please navigate to the bottom of the forum and click to change your theme to "test default" and see if that fixes errors. Something that you may want to pass along to the board developers that I just uncovered in my testing: When navigating to a topic in the site using https://..., the pagination fails to load as we get client-side errors when attempting to jump between http:// and https://. However, http://... has worked every time that I have tested pagination. I suspect that this works because http:// doesn't care if resources are served up via http:// or https://, it just works. This has been the case with every single one of my tests on several random threads across multiple boards on the site. NOTE: it is not recommended to navigate to a site over http as it is not a connection secured with an SSL certificate. As an example using this thread: http://www.hoosiersportsnation.com/index.php?/topic/10367-ok-we-must-stop-this-crashing-server-thing/page/2/ will work properly https://www.hoosiersportsnation.com/index.php?/topic/10367-ok-we-must-stop-this-crashing-server-thing/page/2/ will not allow page changing In short, if you see a padlock to the left of the address bar then the site is over https and will not allow page changes. If you see a "Not Secure" message instead of a padlock, then you are on http and paging should work without issue.
