im not saying we are destined for 7 or 8 wins (although I don’t think it’s impossible), but let’s not pretend like Western Kentucky is some east G5 opponent that we should beat by 30.

WKU is better this year. They're not going to put up quite as insane passing numbers, but their offense is a lot more balanced.  Their defense is better, too.

Our OOC schedule is, in reality, much more difficult than it appears on paper.

Again, this is IU football. Expectations must be based on reality. All the comments I saw from the game thread make it appear as though Dolsen can write a check and bring in an elite head coach. 
Guess I’m just tired of the constant negativity from a few posters who tend to dominate the game threads

I have mellowed soooo much in my old age.  When I was younger a lot of stuff got broken during IU games.

The reason I come here to vent about the game is that if not I would make a full of myself yelling and screaming at the TV
