KDB
“Multiple sources also confirm that Indiana head coach Tom Allen expressed interest in the Liberty opening. While initial conversations were had between Allen and Liberty, the search is ongoing and fluid.” https://www.aseaofred.com/update-on-liberty-football-coaching-search/
5fouls
Quite honestly, Liberty is a much easier place to coach and gives him a better chance to coach in a bowl game. I've never understood why coaches that are in a bad situation with a second division program in a Power 5 school tries to fight through it instead of taking a better situation at a smaller school. I personally would rather win at Liberty than lose at Indiana, Vanderbilt, Kansas, Duke, etc.
KoB2011
While I would like this ending to our time with Allen a lot better than firing him, I feel like he can do so much better than that place. Tom Allen seems to be a genuinely good person and Liberty seems to consistently employ people who are anything but that…
