I don’t care how many injuries they have, it’s a Big Ten team and we need to go play hard and focused for 40 minutes. Payne is a big physical kid that plays with a very high motor... Like a lot of freshmen, his skills aren't really developed yet, but it's not from lack of effort... Defensively, he's a lot like Malik Reneau (a little bit better athletically, but not quite the basketball instincts) in the fact he doesn't yet know the difference between good defense and a foul...
