Second half not so much, but they hung in there and did what they had to. Now, do the same against Rutgers, who always seems to have our number. Is there any update on Geronimo? DWB Posted February 5, 2023 Report Share Posted February 5, 2023 Love the win. We deserved it. But...our energy and ball movement in the 2nd half stunk. Everybody was standing around waiting for JHS, or TJD to make a play. Not sure what happened, but they certainly didn't have the same intensity as the 1st half. Painter is a class act and an excellent coach. Post game, he said it just like it was. Didn't throw any of his kids under the bus (like some other coaches have recently) and he was very effusive with his praise of our team and TJD in particular... Woody said Jalen asked for the ball at the end... He's a confident kid... But he's gotta start bringing it on the road... And as I said in the pregame... Edey gets it close, you can count it... I was also impressed with him in the post game...
