btownqb
Friday--- Sinnard was solid. Not worried about the numbers... 6IP 4ER (some wind aided hits, we clearly benefitted as well with 26 runs)... anyways, he was very good and what you need out of that Friday night start. We kept him right at 90p.. should be good to go for Thursday of this week. Ey was awful again, and is basically unpitchable on the weekends, currently. Katskee (FR) pitched and gave up 1ER in 1 inning. Seiler went 2IP to finish and looked good. Offensively-- mercy-- HR- Jessee (2), Glasser, DT, Pyne, Cerny, Serruto, Tibbitts- 8 in total for a school record 2B- Whalen, Jessee (2) Triple- Whalen Other than Ey: 9IP 5ER 7H 1BB 11K 1HBP ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Saturday: Basically a bloodbath from the start. Risedorph started and was sensational (and threw 1.2 innings on Wed, so they weren't going to allow him a huge # of pitches)... 4IP 3H 1ER 4K. Kraft replaced him, struggled at the start, but then finished the game very well. 5IP 2ER 5H 4K 2BB Offensively, again, we hammered PU pitching.. Sunday: the 3rd massacre of the weekend... Mercer went Bothwell (who I mentioned on Wednesday would be able to pitch come Sunday)... started, which for sure was a surprise, but nothing I can complain about by any means... Sidenotes- 1. Depside Bothwell's struggles this year, the last two seasons Ty has thrown 81.1 innings 3.77ERA.... last season in conference games-- 21IP 1.29ERA. https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=bothwe000ty- Last week Ty threw 6IP 4H 3ER 6K 3BB (against two really good offenses) 2. Risedorph, Seiler, Foley--- all three are pitching very well... (remember Foley+Risedorph are true FR) -Foley- last 6 innings-- 2H 10K 3BB 0R -Seiler- last 6 innings- 4H 5K 1BB 1ER -Risedorph- throw out Maryland-- last 15.2IP- 7H 16K 1BB 2ER 3. Purdue sucks and Paul Toetz looks like a chump.
