Family issues. One parent wants one route. The other wants another. If I were betting now. Florida St.

I am buying what you are selling. The only reason I posted what I did about the bid going higher..... is that several on, one Illini board were posting about money going his way, when he opted for DePaul over Illinois.

I will say this.... having followed recruiting in Chicago for years now. I can understand how some Illinois fans feel that way. But... generally, in the past the money has flowed to the h.s. coaches, rather than to the recruits themselves.  With, perhaps a payoff to the recruit on the back end, once, if and when he goes pro.

Funny part is that Lou led the charge in bag $. Underwood, Groce, Weber....all don't have a chance with the top talent. Only reason Ayo went there was Mac owed them a bone....plus Kendall Gill and Ayo family are tight. IIRC they lived next door to each other.

I don't know much about Illinois recruiting but my wife is from Illinois and I know plenty about how dirty Chicago is...I'll just leave it at that.
