Washington @ Indiana Post Game Thread

Great win with a backup quarterback.

Ponds was a difference maker.

Tayven did what he needed to do.  Glad to have him handle a tough situation.

Ellison and Cooper were excellent.  Several defensive players made key plays.   Total team win working together to help your backup QB.

Cig talked about this when he got here.   You go through the process year round.  Get better everyday.  Get immersed in sound football.  The result is the difference between winning and losing.  You make the plays you need to make that are difference in the game.  It all comes from being process oriented.   He’s said this since December and it has materialized.

This coaching staff is ridiculous.    Love the adjustment in the second half.   We talked about it in the game thread over and over about running.  Was so nice to see Cig confirm the adjustment.

Really want to see Rourke in there on the road next week.

This college football thing is fun when your team is actually really good.

It was awesome seeing us being able to run the ball to run the clock out. When they know you are running the ball and still can't stop it, you know the OL is doing their job well.

TJ did what he had to do today. KR would have probably put this one away in the first half.

TJ looks like he can be a great player, just not the KR type of… here’s the ball. Sling it type…. quite yet. I think he can be. Experience and confidence will get him there. Arm talent is there.

Man today was an all-time day on the list of days, in a very good way. What a day, what an atmosphere, what a freaking game, what a great win. This team is truly never daunted, not just a catch phrase. Heck, I started to feel a bit daunted at moments but I just kept telling myself, Cig is all about the process and this team is 100% bought in. It is incredible. I couldn't be happier about Indiana football ever in my life thus far.

Glad you got that experience!

So I am not sure if I understand. Have you had a good day?

Did you get there for GameDay?

I missed it on TV. Know what they did for Corso?

Dinardro was on Bigten halftime show. I know he didn't do much for IU. Must be surreal for him too.
