Coach Lamont Paris (26-8 last year, 38-30 overall in his 3rd year at USC) brings his South Carolina Gamecocks (1-1) into Bloomington for a matchup with our Hoosiers...

Led by sophomore Collin Murray Boyles and senior guard Jacobi Wright, the Gamecocks aren't real big, and haven't shot the 3 ball very well this year so far. They've split their 2 games Losing to North Florida at home, and beating South Carolina State at home as well...

GO HOOSIERS

I forgot...last time South Carolina was in Bloomington, I was there... December 1973...

Brian Winters, Alex English, and Mike Dunleavy played on that team...

We still whipped them though 🙂

I really liked Brian Winters at the NBA level.  That’s a crazy stacked team.  Those are three big time players.   Wish we had footage of that game because I was too young that year to watch but that would have been a heck of a game to watch.  My first IU season that I can remember would have been ‘75 and even that year would have been shaky.  ‘76 I actually had a good handle on.

Tom Abernathy was a sophomore, and had a big game...didn't miss from the field or ft line

Great game to schedule during our bye week lol

I thought this was a basketball board so you shouldn't be talking football on here. I am pretty sure someone said that on the football board about talking basketball on there

You mean someone that was bitching about Woodson in a football recruits thread?

Get lost, Scott.

This was a great game to schedule. We should get a win a playing a P4 school will not harm the NET.

I like this type of game as well, but we can absolutely harm our NET (once it’s released) if we don’t come out ready to play. I don’t think we can turn it on for just one half like we did vs EIU and win this game - and a loss here would hurt our NET and resume in general.

I agree that we should win. But imo we’ll have to play better, or at least more complete games, than we did in the first two.

My wife asked if I was recording the game today and I said IU has a bye week. She said, no the basketball game.

we've taken over both Futbols/ Footballs now , Basketball making a resurgence, both Men and women....now if only IU could make better use of their pool and their aqualetes...😎
