BDB
Good to see IU played well today. Ballo comes through under pressure at the end to bury 4 straight freebies. The guard play is night and day compared to last year.
Reacher
I watched the IU beat the Gamecocks on Peacock. Sorry Blue, I couldn't resist.
Hoosierfan1901
3 point defense locked down in the 2H, I don’t think SC made a 3
Joe_Hoopsier
Played free, never stopped due to pressure from a good team. This win will pay huge dividends later on. Go hoosiers !
bluegrassIU
The only negative is I wish we could have buried them a few different times. Overall, a solid game and solid win. Granted it's a low bar, but we are light years ahead of last season at this point. I liked what I saw today.
Hoosier987
Solid win. Have to give Woodson credit. He played an 8 man rotation. That’s a big plus.
Parakeet Jones
That was a food win. It was a nice early season test.
Seeking6
I didn't follow the in game thread because I wanted to see things from my end. *First off. Tons of talent and tons of options for this season *Second. How to make all of those options work together....which player or players are the focus in each game. Low, HIgh?? *Third. I'd love to know what Lamont was preaching in first half. He must of went to the Brad Underwood high ball screen defense academy on how to fail. Kudos to Rice for taking advantage. *Fourth. We probably could have won by 30...but I also know it's November. Take 16 point wins vs a P5 team who was a 6 seed last year and roll with it. *Fifth. Long season gang. I see like 7-8 really, really good parts. Everyone just trying to figure it out. Go Hoosiers!
Fkfootball
Better team than last year. I'll say that.

IU Scott
That was a good win vs a power conference team. 51% from the field 47% from 3 82 from the line Out rebounded them by 4 Only 11 turnovers We should have put them away when we got up 62-44 but at least they never got closer than 9. Also the announcer kept saying we left the whole game but we got down 4-0 Edited November 16 by IU Scott
Proud2BAHoosier
Would have liked to watch the game but couldn't because it was on P'cock network. Sorry, but I'm not going to shell out money to umteen different subscriptions! What has happened to college sports?? Bring back the days when you knew what channel the games were being played and when RMK had his weekly TV show!! 2

Parakeet Jones
I really enjoyed watching Carlyle have his best game of his still starting IU career today. Fantastic mid range game and the three looked better from him today.

When I lived at McNutt 1978-80, there was a rotary dial phone in a box that we shared with the adjoining dorm room.
