Danomatic
Well, where do we go from here? Who is the next Men’s IUBB Coach? This thread is past due. Woodson’s tenure is done. Not one serious recruit will commit to this.
5fouls
Are you talking about after Mike's contract is up? He might get extended. 3 1
TiminNC
Preferably someone that has a high degree of success in the college ranks, with Nil and the transfer portal. Everything is here to build a championship caliber team. I'm not sure I can go through an entire season of this. NCHoosier32
after not being Mike Woodson, I think the 2nd most important criteria is a college coach with a solid resume. seems weird, but it just might work. 2

Parakeet Jones
I don’t have the energy for this until we know we for sure have an opening. Having said that, Otz from Iowa St. 4

BobSaccamanno
I feel good that Dolson will be better equipped to identify a good coach for us. Qualities needed: 1. Coaching philosophy and mindset. Look at CCC and being “process oriented,” “relentlessly avoiding complacency,” how he motivates, identifies talent (not just googling the top five stars like the current staff does but digging deeper). This is completely lacking right now. 2. Understanding of modern basketball and how to succeed in college. Somebody who understands the importance of shooting, how the metrics dictate things we need to do to succeed, etc. 3. Someone who has a staff and infrastructure ready for the college game. 4. Basketball strategy. Look at the reasons why Haralson and Mullins didn’t come. The basketball nuts and bolts are lacking sophistication here. 5. Ability to make adjustments at halftime, to address what the other team is doing, etc. 6. Leadership, presence and command to run an operation like this. There will be up and coming coaches who have delivered already and can get up to speed here. I was hoping Woody could put together a recruiting class that could help the transition but he’s just too incompetent. So we will have to adjust on the fly in the spring. The only silver lining to this cluster is that Dolson has several months to put it together.
Hippopotamo
If we strike out on the absolute home run options, I’d be pretty happy with Shrewsberry.

Maybe not successful yet, but. Jim frank on CR400 in Green county Indiana Don Jones on CR 1050 Green county Indiana. With these two, at least we won't get our hopes up and they can't be any worse than Archie or Woody. Give them 3 game contracts, with one game extension options. 2

I know TX wasn’t great, but he’s rolling at Marquette
